Thank you Betty for confirming marriage date..... I have now found them on census etc etc...

Another part of my tree opened up. I have hundreds of Freeths if you need any info, esp. on Edwin Freeths(1840) line - a brother of Hannah's.

Where abouts are you? I am near Birmingham.

Regards, Susan

Hello Susan

I live just outside Bearwood, 3 miles outside Brum.

Did Edwin marry Thomason Ann Collins ? I'm trying to find their marriage.

I've been to Brum Archives today and searched and found the marriages of Samuel Freeth to Rebekah Smith, Thomas Freeth to Sarah Hemings, Phoebe Freeth to Joseph Fanton, Rebecca Freeth to John Downing and James Freeth to Maria Vezey.
I'm overjoyed.

Regards

Betty

Hi Betty,

I'm in Dudley so not far away.....

Edwin Freeth married Thonas Ann Collins at Smethwick St. Pauls in 1868.

They had the following children..
Thomas Edwin, George William , Sarah Ann, Arthur Leonard, John, Ada, Harry, Herbert, Louisa, and Georgina..

George William is my ancestor(1870 - 1951) . He married Ellen Brookes. Of thir children, Lily Freeth (1900- 2001) was my Grandmother...

Hope this helps, Susan Berry
