Hi there!
I live in Bristol, and I have a sort of family tree which a relation let me have which goes back to about 1700.
Do you have any ancestors that I could see if they fit with my family?

Best regards

Alan

Jan: Would be interested to know if you have any Hunter surname in your research. I found William and Sarah (Freke) Hunter on the 1851 census of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, who I believe are my great, great grandparents (both born in Bitton). Sarah would be the daughter of Constantine Freke and Jane Peasley. This is not yet documented but found in searches. Thank you for any reply.

Welcome to the Bristol family tree. No I do not have any Hunter surnames in my research, but I do have Constantine and Jane Peasley also Sarah who was one of 11 children, could you please send all details etc so I can add to the tree, then I will send you a Geneology Report from 1724. from Jan

Jan:
Since my information on Sarah has not been validated, would you please tell me if Sarah's birthdate is November 30, 1814? I understand that records are available at BAFHS but haven't as yet sent for them. If I am on the right track, then Sarah is buried in Gambier, Knox County, Ohio, and would be my gggrandmother. I live in Ohio and recently visited this gravesite and have pictures. I would want to be sure I have the right Sarah before giving information that would not be correct. Hoping this is indeed my Sarah. Thank you so much. - Loretta

My name is Chris Freke. My father was Dennis Freke, son of Benjamin Freke, son of George Freke, son of George Freke, son of William and Mary. I have collected information about the Frekes, mostly in the 19th C. I would be happy to share what I have and learn more about the family.

Cheers

Dear Alan

I was interested to see your message. I have not been able to go back beyond the late 1700s and would be fascinated to see your earlier links if possible. My family came from St George and lived in the Bell Hill Meg Tatcher's Green area. I can send you a gedcom of what I have managed to uneartjh so far if you want.

Cheers
