My Great-great grandfather was Thomas Didimus Frith. My family comes from
Perry, FL, before that from Dothan, AL, before that GA(Randolph County near Dawson), and before that VA(possibly had 1 or 2 families there). I am
trying to find out as much as possible.
I believe he was born in either 1795 or 1797 or 12/7/1805 and died 1/19/1876.
He was married to Ada Lourinda(Louida) Bartlett (1829 - 11/1899). We believe he
was married 3 0r 4 times. We are decendents of his last wife. He came from VA. to
GA. in the 1820's and is buried at the Rehobeth Cemetary on US Highway 82,
Randoph County, GA. near Dawson. His last wife is buried at Howard's Grove
Cemetary in Houston Co.,AL. south of Dothan.
By this marriage he had my great-granddad Patrick Henry (1857), also Nancy
M.(1858), Benjamin(1860), Sidney(1862), Luida(1864), Wm. Robert
Lee(10/1867-12/31/1940), Alice E.(4/26/1870), and Florence(1869).
His second marriage was to Masiah(1813- ) in North Carolina. His children by this
marriage were Lasa(1829), John(1829), E. S.(1831), Franklin(1831), Absolm(1833),
William Skiles(1833), Fredonia(1835), Indiana(1840), Thomas(1842), Joseph(1844),
James(1846), Ella(1847). All born in GA.
My Great granddad was Patrick Henry Frith (6/1857 - 2/18/1925) married to Susan Lenorah Mathis (10/2/1859 - 8/17/1954). They lived in Cottonwood, AL.
I am suppose to have a full-bloodied Cherokee before him. I have no history that far
back. It may have been his mother or grandmother or his wife's mother or
grandmother. I am also interested in finding out as much as I can if you have any
other info PLEASE email me and let's get to know each other.

Hello, I am also a descendent of Thomas Didimus Firth who married Martha Elizabeth Scarborough April 4 1817 in Franklin County, Virginia he died in 1861. Martha was born April 4th 1796 and Thomas was born March 10, 1778. On Thomas death register it listed Thomas Frith as his father, but I had had very little luck in finding anything on his father Thomas Frith. Their children were; Jacob Austin Frith, Susan Ann, Robert Rudd, (my line and I have found a John Frith in Chesterfield County, VA that married Rebecca Rudd) Thomas Didimas, Archibald, Elizabeth, Catherine, Martha Elizabeth, John, maybe a Harvey, Lucinda and Rebecca J. Does anything sound familiar? Must all be some connection with the name Thomas Didimas. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cindy in Henry County, Virginia

Cindy Wayne Celucia and I are both descendandants of a Thomas Didymus Frith who was born in Virginia circa 1805 and died in Randolph County, Ga in 1876. Some researchers have confused him with yout ancestor by the same name, which comes from lack of real information about him. I have a strong feeling that we are related and probably pretty close. I would like to communicate with you about your line as I have been researching this man for a long long time.

I have info on Lurany Rudd Frith,b.abt. 1762 in Chesterfield Ct. Va. She was the child of James Rudd, b. abt. 1710, Henrico Ct. Va., and she married a Joel Frith, date unknown.

If Lurany Rudd is daughter of James Rudd son of John Rudd /Avis Whittaker, then Lurany's aunt Rebecca Rudd (b. ~1712 Henrico Co, VA) married a Frith too, John Frith (b. ~1710, lived in Chesterfield Co, VA). I wonder how Joel & John might be related.
