Hannah 1766 also in Handsworth. One of their children was Amelia Frith b 8 May 1774
Handsworth, Yorkshire who married William Cawthorne 2 Dec 1793 in Sheffield.

I too am researching Cawthornes. However I feel this may be a longshot. I am finding it very confusing researching the Cawthrones on litttle info. I live in Canada and am not rellly planning a trip abroad in the near futur.
This is the info I do have.. who knows we might be related.
I have a William Berry Cawthorne b. 1870-73 d.1940 m. Ameila Coldwell b. 1873 d. 1900. Thye had two girls Gladys b. 1898 and Dorothy b.1895. (Dorothy is my grand mother)
I also have William Berry Cawthornes Father as Fredrick Cawthorne b.1844 in Barnsley. He married Eliza Hannah Berry b. 1849 in Sheffield. Their children were My William Berry , George, Floretta and Lilian.
