Hi All!
Looking for any photographs or information anyone might have on Rosa M. Fritter b.1878, daughter of Lewis Aden Fritter. I have seen the Census and she just disappears after 1910 in public online records. Last record I have found (1910 C) shows her in Garrisonville, VA with her sister America. Just wondering if any of the family would have anything to share. She was my great grandmother.
Thank you so much!
Jeannie

Susan,
I am a Virgina Fritter trying to trace my father's linage (Lewis Stanley Fritter, b.1911). Because he was an orphan (adopted at age 3-name not changed), I am having much difficulty. I know he had 2 other brothers that lived in Stafford, but do not know their names, also do not know his parents names, but hoping to find someone who knows of these 3 Fritter brothers & how they came to be orphaned. Not much available from VA in those years as birth certificate, etc.
My husband is reg on Ancestory.com as cavalier6x and we would like to join your "Frittering our time away" homepage to research that forum. Many thanks. sjanuss@hotmail.com

Hi Susan

I am interested in your home page. Many years ago we were in contact, first you were in the mid-west, then you moved to Calif. Not sure where you are now. I lived in San Rafael, then Reno, Nevada and now back in Napa since two years ago. I found those pictures of Calif Fritters and a couple of them were our family. My new e-mail is bickforddeanna@att.net It will be good to hear from you. Deanna

My father is Floyd Kerns Fritter son of Harvey Nelson Fritter and Icie Virginia Kerns. He was born in Stafford County, VA. I have done a lot of research on the family but have had little interaction with any members. I would be glad to share what I have and always glad to gain more knowledge about the family.
At this point Nolan Fritter is just a name on a census record to me and I would like to "fill in the blanks" so I would appreciate any info you are willing to share.
Thanks,
Bob Kerns

Is anyone still looking for information? I just stumbled upon this thread but realize it's from 10 years ago! I live in Northern Virginia and my dad (Steve Fritter)'s parents were Nolan and Marjorie Fritter. We took a vacation about 9 years ago and went through Chicago to meet up with my dads step brother (who I'm guessing is Bob?). My dad has a lot of information on our ancestry and may know how to get in touch with Bob so please reply if you're still interested!

John Fritter. I just found a record for Edith Page (Gallahan) Fritter married to John Norwood Fritter. In this obit it mentions a son John and daughter Marie. I was wondering if this is you? If so I would appreciate any help you could give me finding relatives. This obit also mentions Edith attended Rock Hill Baptist Church. Edith is one of my relatives but there is not much info. on this side of my family. I look forward to hearing from you.

I only ask that you find & send me a
photo in return for each one I send you,or the cost of the
photo (1.00 each) and postage to send them out. I don't like to ask for reembursment thats why i'd prefer photo's in return,....also i'm not related in any way, just someone who finds lost kinfolk, and tries to send them back home.

I am trying to find Thelma's maiden name. She and Allen were married in 1931. He was also known as Allie. He was born in 1911 son of Harvey Nelson Fritter and Icie (various spellings) Virginia Kerns.
Also, I have been told that Icie later married Jesse Overman, but I can find no record of this and my father (her son) never mentioned it.
Thanks,
Bob Kerns

Thank you very much for responding to my recent search for the Fritter boys.My source only knew their father as "Fred".He married a Sally Mooney who was born in St.Margaret's in Prince Edward Island.Sally was married for awhile to Cass Urban and divorced soon after. Then she moved to the states and met Fred. They were married and had 2 children. These are the ones I am trying to locate and I believe they would be in their forties today.Fred I am told was of Jewish nature and owned clothing stores in the Philly area and possibly New York.If you can help me anymore I would greatly appreciate it. Sincerely....Sherry Lindsay
