Chris, I'm Calina's aunt Lynn. I just got an email about your family and I'm sure they are the same. A good resource if you have a library card is to go online to your library and get into HeritageQuest and look at the census. Or go to your library and access it through their computers. There is a William in MO.

Email me if you wish and I will see if I have some data you don't.

Lynn

No, I am not a FRODSHAM myself, I am an ELLAMS, but, a Sarah Ann FRODSHAM b.1855 married Thomas ELLAMS b.1850, an Innkeeper of the Horse & Jockey in Helsby and farmer, and had a child named Thomas Newport Ellams who also became an Innkeeper.

All I know about Elizabeth FRODSHAM is that she married an ELLAMS (there is just a dash for the christian name). They had a child named Eliza.

Hi

Have just discovered that my husband descends from a Joseph and Mary FRODSHAM.
Their daughter Esther was baptised 1st Sept. 1782 at Billinge, near Wigan.
Either the same family as yours - or maybe cousins.
Esther married a John LEIGH at Wigan on 21st Feb 1802.
The family continued at Billinge for the next 100 years - many baptisms, weddings and burials taking place at the Catholic Church of St Marys Birchley.
I know nothing else about this surname, but I do live quite close to Wigan - if you need any local records checked.
