Looking for baby boy's Fuentes family in Houston, TX

I am searching for Fuentes family members who have or had a Mother, Father, brother or sister or cousin who had a baby boy on Jan 25 1948 and placed him for adoption at the DePelchin Faith Home in Houston, TX on or about March 1948.

He is my Father now and he and I share a passion for history. Now we are searching for OUR OWN history.
We only to know where we came from before time runs out for his birth parents or him.

It would be great to connect our true past with our present.

My father is Severo Fuentes Pena Jr was born in Karnes City TX. His parents, my grandparents are Severo Pena Sr and Antonia Rangel Fuentes.. with great grandparent being Gregoria Rangel Fuentes on behalf of my grandmother. My parents migrated from Texas back in the 40's to Idaho. There were 9 of us children born from my parents marriage. 2 of us are located in Oregon, 5 in Idaho, 1 in Utah and one deceased. I have a brother in Idaho that is doing alot of research on this as we speak.I would love to combine our information to know if we are truely related.

My grandmother was Antonia Rangel Fuentes and my grandfather was Severo Cabrera Pena. My Father was named Severo Fuentes Pena. Antonia is a sister to Manuela, Teodoro, Elena, Lupa, Cesaro (Sesario?) and Theresa. Antonia is buried in the aberdeen, idaho cemetery next to her husband Severo and brother Teodoro. They all originated out of the Karnes County Texas area.

The Children consisted of Teodoro, Antonia, Manuela, Elena, Lupa Cesaro (Sesaria?) and Theresa. Antonia is my grandmother and she deceased early 1990's. She is buried next to my grandfather Severo Cabrera Pena in the Aberdeen, Idaho Cemetery. Teodoro died in 1954 and is buried next to her.

Pablo and Gregoria are my grandmother's parents (Antonia Rangel Fuentes). Antonia deceased early 1990's and is buried in the Aberdeen, idaho cemetery. Her brother Teodoro is buried next to her.

My grandmother's name was Antonia Rangel Fuentes and her brother's name was Theodoro or Teadoro. They originated out of Karnes County Texas. They are both now deceased an buried in the Aberdeen, Idaho Cemetery.

Tanislado is my uncle because he married my Dad's sister Luz Fuentes Hernandez. You have cousins living in Arizona, children of Tanislado & Luz Hernandez. My father was in Texas, when he met Tanislado and they became great friends and my father introduced Luz his sister to Tanislado. Keep in touch, Happy Holidays!

My father's name is Benito Fuentes and live and died in El Centro, California.
One of my uncle name is Lazaro Fuentes and live most of his life in Monterrey Texas.
My Grandparents' name is Benito Fuentes (from Sonora MX) and Nachita Mendez de Fuentes (from Los Angeles, CA)

Sorry to inform you...I was stationed in Nurnberg,GE with Martin from 86-89. He become REALLY sick in 89, and was shipped to Walter Reed AMC. When I returned stateside in Oct I called WRAMC, and they said he passed away 2 weeks prior. I am currently looking for any info on Martin. His girlfriend/wife? at 98th Gen Hosp, was Adina ?Williams? My Aunt Augustina Garza Rodriguez De Fuentes was married to Theodoro Fuentes. Augustina is buried in the Mexican Cememtry in Runge, Texas.

My moms name was Rita Fuentes Hernandez, born near Nochistlan, Zacatecas, Mexico in a little pueblo called Monte de Yanez. Her moms name was Gregoria Fuentes who died when my mom was about 10, and her grandparents names were Manuel Fuentes and Juana Hernandez. I guess there were a lot of Hernandez' down there, some related, some not, but through marraige a lot became related. David

Because the way dad was paid, in tokens, which he could turn into money, a number of them heard that there was a lot of work in Canada, so a bunch of the men left the mines to go to Canada, where I was born. Dad and a few of the men stayed in Canade, went back to New Mexico, where my mom had moved to from Mexico, married her and brought her to Canada, just south of Detroit, Michigan to a place called Harrow in the province of Ontario. David, what is your Grandma's name? My father was born in Mexico, parents moved to texas when he was 7 yrs old. As an adult he went to Arizona to work in the mines along with my uncle Tanislado Hernandez. If you have pictures to share I would like to look at them. My family lives in Arizona.

My mom left Mexico with an aunt and went to Arizona or New Mexico where cousins lived who worked in the mines. We did however have some cousins in Texas according to mom and she had pictures of two men who served in the military... they were wearing uniforms - army, marines, I don't know.

I am Rita Fuentes Hernandez' son. She came from Monte de Yanez, just outside Nochistlan. Actually you can see Nochistlan from my tio Moises' house and some of his other kids homes.

My ancestor Bernabe de Fuentes and his wife Rosalia Garcia were the parents of Josef de Fuentes who was born in Santa Clara, Cuba, and married Maria de la Concepcion Hernandez in 1812, in Louisiana, and are the ancestors of the Fuentes family from Louisiana
I have a copy of his Will. Bernabe de Fuentes was born in the city of Trinidad, (which in that time, 1798, it belonged was the province of Santa Clara, Cuba. His wife Rosalia was born in 1747 in the city of Santa Clara. They were married in Santa Clara, Cuba; however, the first book of marriage of the church is damaged and it can't be open; however, it is in the index.
The parents of Bernabe de Fuentes were Pedro de Fuentes and Florencia de Arcia. The parents of Rosalia Garcia were Manuel Garcia (nat. of Extremadura, Spain), and Isabel de los Reyes, native of Santa clara, Cuba.
I will like to contact the descendants of the Fuentes of Louisiana.

I was told that they came from Guerreo (I know this is misspelled) Mexico. I had Aunt Agalita, who would give me bits and pieces. She pass two months ago. My Augustina( Theodoro Fuentes) was born to Guillermo Rodriguez and Melchora Garza. She had four sisters Dorathea ( Pedro Lopez ), Vicenta (Delorse Alcala ), Simmona (she never married ) and Eufemia( Juan Rios ) my mother. Also four brother Guillermo(Willie), Julian, Reulo and Antonio Rodriguez. They are all gone now. I have just sign back on to Ancestry. com. I want to finish up. Thanks C

Thanks. Manuela i buried in te Mexican Cementary in Helena. She died in 1930 when my Grandparets house caught on fire in Karnes City. She died de to her burns.

Sorry no. but their is another person that claims Pablo and Georgia as his grandparents. his name is Jose Hernandez.
We grew up hearing about our Aunt from my mother. She was lonely, and missed them so much. I visited my grandfather's, Augustina and Simona Grave about two years ago. I still have a lot of family that lives in Runge, Texas.
