These are my ancestors, from what I can see. Please visit my tree and see if anything I have can help you! Or, conversely, perhaps you can help me.....:) They seem to have had a son named Moses Taylor, b. 1689. He appears to have married Abagail Barton, and their son, Reuben Taylor, b. 1715, married Phoebe Hunt.

I've been curious if Chauncey Fuller in Middlebury, Vt was a relative to my ggg grandfather, Thomas Fuller who was from Middlebury, when he purchased land in Ripton, VT in early 1800/ Chauncey married Harriet Foote and my gg grandfather Thomas Fuller Jr. did name one of his daughters Harriet. Thomas Fuller was born 1775 probably Conn or Mass married Nancy Briggs in 1802 in Putney, Vermont. She is of the Clement Briggs of Plymouth Colony family. Also, Thomas Fuller Jr moved to Wiscoy, Winona, Minnesota amd joined his son Clark Apollus Fuller there.

THE THIRD TIME IS THE CHARM. There is one thing in connexion with this line of our Fullers that I forgot to mention: I am trying to find out whether the wife (Abigail) of James Fuller of Ashford and Union was a EWER(S). Perhaps since there is no YOUARD/YEWARD name in Savage or Pope (and, thus, quite possibly, not in New England in those days) Hammond or someone else read into the name YOUMANS, a well established name. Since EWART (as in Wm E. Gladstone) is listed in some books as the equivalent of YOUARD/YEWARD, (and Pope and Savage list no EWARTS either), I searched those two works for EWER, and found that name in N.E. It certainly sounds more like YOUARD/YEWARD than YOUMANS looks like it. This would be Calvin's grandmother's family. Just in case you did not thus get notification that I replied, I am replying directly to yours, too, so that you may go to the site and read that message. I may write you shortly at your e-mail address. As you are my kin, you will probably want the things that I hope to turn up on our ancestor James Fuller of Attleborough-Ashford-Union.
I happened to be on our dial-up writing our son when I saw that you had left a message; for now I cannot send anything on Drusilla but will verify information on Fullers: THE HISTORY OF UNION, CONN., founded on material gathered by REV. CHARLES HAMMOND, LL. D., 1893, pp. 345-346: James and Abigail (Hammond has Youmans, as do most sites; in Vital Rec. of Ashford I see YOUARD; Barbour's transcription has YEWARD/LENARD?.)Fuller marr. in Ashford Dec. 17, 1717. He was town clerk, Union, in 1737. Their children (b. Ashford): Dinah, Abigail, Elizabeth, WILLIAM (b. Mar. 13, 1722/3--verified in Vital Rec.). WILLIAM married Mehitabel Tyler in Wittington Dec. 10, 1746 (verified in V. R. of Wittington). Their children: Hezekiah, Dorothy (V.R. of Union list a named son who died after a few months), Isaac (my 4-gr. grandfather), CALVIN, b. May 6, 1758 (verified in V.R. of Union), Abigail, Luther, Abner, John. Hezekiah (Wm.s' br.) marr. Margaret Tyler, Mehitable's sister.
Descendants of one Samuel F. say that he was the youngest brother; if so, I suspect his birth in Wales, Mass., whither Wm and Mehitable moved for a while (Luther's papers in appl. for pension after the War). John & Isaac were with Calvin in Vermont in 1800 census before they went to Jefferson Co., N.Y., where Abner joined them after a brief sojourn in Coos Co., N.H., where Hezekiah (the younger) and Luther settled (Thompson's history of Stratford, N.H., and census rec.). I write in haste before losing connexion as I did a moment ago. I can send more dates and a little more if you are interested. Hope that this helps!
I read the postings about Calvin Fuller with great interest. Has it been proven that his father was definitely William and his mother Mehitable Tyler? Calvlin's daughter Mary "Polly" who married Seth Gates is my gr-gr-gr-grandmother, and her grave is in a field near the old homestead. When my grandmother first took me there she said Polly's grandfather lived to be 116 and taught Latin at an advanced age, and that Drusilla lived to be 97. Polly died at 93 or 4. I would dearly love to have their lineage solved. Thanks. rdonn@epix.net

Hello all--I'm trying to research my roots hopefully to the Mayflower.

My 2nd Great Grandfather was Thomas Andrew Fuller who married Lena F. Dimmick.

Below, is information I am not sure about:

Thomas's parents were Reuben Fuller and I believe Lucy Fuller.

Reuben's parents were Ebenezer and Rachel Hatch. All of Falmouth, MA.
Does anyone out there have information to support this? I found the Census which shows that Thomas was 1 when Reuben Married his second wife, Susan Turner. Lucy died in 1856.

Thank you for any help.I submitted a preliminary application through the mayflower membership society website and got the following reply:
We also checked our lineage files. Our lineage files are consistent with the Mayflower Families book and no one has ever applied for membership in the Mayflower Society through an Ebenezer Fuller, the son of Barnabus Fuller and Elizabeth Young, married to a Rachel Hatch.

I just did a story about the Meairs family in Lawrence, Kansas during Quantrill's Raid (Bloody Kansas). William Grant was the son of William D. and Lovina Meairs (his second wife after my gggrandmother died). The family farm was one of the first established (1854, I believe)in territorial Kansas and is still in the Meairs family, just outside Lawrence. The Meairs have a terrific family reunion which I was able to attend when I went back to visit my Dad's family. I would be happy to share information.

Probably not related at all. I have a Sabra as the daughter of William Wright as she appears with them in the 1865 census of Unadilla, Otsego, NY. She is married to Hawley Fuller at that time. They are living with Alpheus & Maria(Graves) Wright, in the same household as Orilla Wright the mother, Clark Graves the brother in law, and William H and Phebe (Colton) Wright. I hoped she was one of Orilla's 6 listed children as she was born in Delaware county in the same time frame as the other children. I will continue researching as though she is related, but it doesn't look as if the odds are very good.

He was my paternal Great Grandfather married to Ellen Marie (Ella) Livingston and his father was James Fuller born in NY and his third wife Cynthia Norton was his mother. Before James was Thomas Fuller. If you have any questions about THIS Fuller family, I can help. I grew up in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
Cathy

James C. Fuller, b. Union, Maine; d. Cambridge, Mass.

I have no connection at all to this family. I found this in a June 12, 1888 issue of the Rockland (Maine) Courier Gazette:

“James C. Fuller died in Cambridge, Mass., Sunday night at 10:30 o’clock, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Austin T. Jenness, where he had every care and attention. Mr. Fuller was born in Union, and was the son of Albert Fuller of that place, who survives him. He came to this city a dozen or so years ago and conducted the tavern at Blackington’s Corner until three years ago when he bought the restaurant business in the Shepherd building, at the Brook, and has since continued there. Mr. Fuller was a gallant soldier. He enlisted in ’61 in the 17th U.S. Infantry, then re-enlisted in a nine months regiment, then re-enlisted in Baker’s D.C. Cavalry, and served to the end of the war. He was also a member of Edwin Libby Post, G.A.R., of this city. He was a fine specimen of a man, kind hearted and generous to a fault, and one of the best neighbors one could have, and his death is deeply mourned by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. His sickness was a complication of liver and kidney troubles. He died very quietly and happily, being ready to go. The funeral occurs tomorrow at 1:30 o’clock from the family house, Main street. Mr. Fuller’s wife and daughter survive him.”
