Surnames: Gardner, Gardiner
Looking for any information that may be helpful. My great grandmother (Mona Louise Drake) eloped with Frank Gardner (or Gardiner) when they met in St. Louis and they ran off to California. Three years later she came back home divorced with their daughter Audrey. This was sometime during FDR's time when he was running for election, Frank had something to do with his campaign - or so we were told. I know it is a long shot, but if any of this sounds familiar to anyone, please let me know. That is a part of our family history that we are completely in the dark over. :-)
