Looks like I have been derelect in my writing and for that I offer my absolute apologies. Moving and changing my E-address is some of the cause the other is just over looking your very interesting letter.
Did you say the your "tartar" is called a "Gayton"? I would sure like to get a piece of it or a discription, so I could make me a scarf out of it. The closes "Tartar" to my family that I have found, is the one for "Nova Scotia", which I claim since my ancesstors are from there.
I would love to recieve any info you have, that may connect our families. I know it my be tough since we are only tied together by a piece of material.
