Wayne, I'm certain you are part of my wife's family of Gaytons. Edmund Patrick Gayton, b 11/13/1882, married a Carrie Ann Seaman, d. 10/08/1916 (missing in action in WW1). Some records show his name as "Edward", and that's the way it shows on the War Memorial in Pugwash, Nova Scotia. I have your ancesters back to a Patrick Gayton, b. about 1780 who leased, then bought 600 acres of land (now called "Gayton's Crossing")in Memramcook, NB abt 1802. I would be most happy to send you any or all of the info that I have. A Beverly Gayton Goodine helped me get most of the info. She too is related to you and lives in Maine. Look for her name on Gayton message boards about 6 months back. If you want to give me a call, it's (h) 610-696-7196 . Waiting to hear from you! PS, you have a relative still living in Memramcook, NB Dave OConnell
