She married Michael A. Genaro - died March 24, 1976 in
Dallas, Tx. He was the son of Lawrence Genaro and
Josephine DePuma.

Do you know if her husband had a sister who married into the Poli family?

I have a Roy and a Ray Genero/Genaro one was a pall bearer for my Great grandfather and the other for his father (my Great grandfathers father). I also have a Hector mcDonald which is the surname I'm searching who was apll bearer also for one and a Ronnie McDonald for the other. i have not found those 2 names in my family ...yet. Was wondering if the Genaro family were friends or if they were related through marriage. This is in Washington State.

Not sure if this family is related but I found a Ray Genaro as a pall bearer at my 2nd great grandfathers funeral in 1958. In 1959 there was a Roy Genaro as pall bearer to my great grandfather's funeral. I have been trying to figure out how they might be related to us. Might just be friends. i have foud a Roy R. Genaro i nthe 1930 census in Wyoming. He was born there but parents were born in Italy. Parents are peter and Congetta unknown-Genaro. Roy was married to a Thresa unknown-Genaro. Children of Roy and Thresa were Roy E and
Edna M. , both born in Wyoming. Thresa was born in kansas,fa and mother from germany.

I cant give you much more info on this family except that we found a Roy R. Genaro death date in the SSI in Renton, Wa., King Co.

She was 81
She lived in Austin, TX
She died Saturday,January 11,2003 from complications following surgery
She was born May 1, 1921 to Josephine and Frank Muccie in Trenton, NJ
She decided to be a pilot at 17 and worked at the local airport to earn money for flying lessons. She obtained her pilot's license at age 19 with 300 hours and was working toward ehr instructor's license when WWII was declared.
She trained in Sweetwater TX as part of teh WASP--Women Airforce Service Pilots. She was in teh second class, 43-2 part of teh Air Transport Command Ferrying Division AT-6,BT-13,PT-19 and B-25 bomber.
After the War, she married and owned and operated a millinery factory in Dallas, TX and a health food store in West Palm Beach FL.
She is survived by her children, Laura Holland and spouse Tom, Sue Legacy and husband Don, Michael Genaro, all of Austin; Cynthia LaMorticella and husband Tony and grandchildren, Mario and Adria from Eugene OR; sisters, Madeline, Loretta, Dorothy, Gloria and Joannie.

I am the only child of Isabel Genaro Claudio. Her Mother's name was Tomasa Claudio. Her father's name was Manuel Genaro. They lived in Catano, Puerto Rico. My grandfather died over 45 years ago. I don't know where he was from but I know he was European. If anyone has any information that could help me, please either leave me a message here or e-mail me. Thank you.
