Hi! My name is Melinda Morris. My maiden name is Geralds. Im trying to find out more about my family and dont seem to be getting far! Very discouraging. All i've found so far is Daniel Geralds of Tenessee and Illinois is my Great grand father. Apparently he left his wife (I dont know he name) and their children (one of which is my late Grandfather) and I am trying to learn more about them. The 1880 National Census Index published by LDS shows several James Geralds/Jerald/Jerold: 1798 MA, 1830 VA, 1835 CA, 1835 MA, 1845 MO, 1850 NC, 1864 KY, 1871 IL1880 KY. I am looking for parents/siblings James S. Gerelds b abt 1812 Vermont, who married Druscilla Greer 31 Jan. 1842, Lincoln County, TN. Would very much like to visit with someone researching this surname which could have been Fitzgerald(s) without the Fitz. One of the James Gerald is 1835 census for CA showing France as birthplace.

I am recently trying to find out about my family ancestry.
I know that my grandmothers maiden name is Geralds and that her Parents names were Ermie May Turner and Theodor Geralds. I know that they were from around Tompkinsville and Glasgow Kentucky. My grandmothers name would have been Clara Geralds and is now Clara Jackson, along with her having a brother named James and a sister named Hally. I don't know much else but if anyone might have any information I would really

Sorry to have been so long to get back to you. I am not familiar with this line of Geralds. All info I have shows this family in Horry County, SC and in Greensboro, Guilford County, NC. I am looking for my great-grandmother and her name was Hattie Victoria Jerrells. Unfortunately, have found nothing, she would have died about 1911 or 1912. Gerald is spelled so many ways it makes things hard to track. Good luck to you.

i am the greatgrandson of micheal geralds who was born in germany in 1852 and he lived in nashville until he died in oct 13, 1903 he is burial in mount calvary cemetery in nashville
tennessee. if you have any information about please let me know.

YES I FOUND WHERE ELIJAH AND NANCY MARRIED ,IT WAS MCMINN CO. TN. IN 1840DEC.14 . I HAVE ALSO FOUND THE FAMILY OF ELIJAH IN ATHENS,TN. THEY HAVE THE ORIGINAL HOMEPLACE .
