I am another branch of same family and I have some photos of Edward and Augusta Golisch the parents of Otto and Richard and Clara (who was my grandmother)

I am very interested in seeing what everyone has regarding this part of the family.

My aunt Kathryn (Clara's daughter) still lives in Wausau and at 90 is going strong. She has many written documents and photos.

Can we gather all of this together in one spot so we can share?

On the family tree page under Amos Golisch,my grandmother's name is spelled incorrectly. It is Steidtman not Stedman.and there is another daughter named Betty that should be on the list of children,five all together. Thanks

Glad to hear from a relative but, unfortunately,my father has been gone now 13 years this July 19th. Otto was my grandfathers brother. Edward was my grandfather who died when he was 60 years old from an accident. My father[Edward junior was born in 1917 and had a brother named Amos and three sisters,Marjorie,Dorothy,and Betty[the only one still alive,living in Idaho].Three half sisters,Anita,I'll get back to you with the names . I am answering this off the top of my head as you caught me off guard. I know we are related and have been trying to find out more and more about the relatives I have never met or seen. I heard alot through my dad and Uncle Amos,and the half sisters but I am trying to get it all organised,Ha. So tell me who this was that you saw last year,etc.etc. Lyn

your father and aunts were here last summer,we went out to lunch.We also visited the cemetary where My grandparents,Otto and Hulda are buried.Great grandmother and Great grandfather are there also.We really enjoyed their visit.Let me know how everyone is, and what I can do to help.

My father is David Richard Golisch. His father was Clarence Frank Otto Golisch. His father was Richard Golisch. I'm not sure, but I think Otto was either Richard's father or his brother. I think I may have spoken to some of you in the past. I might want to contact you when I put together some of the family tree info for the golisch.com web site.

Thank you for the information,Otto was my grandfather.My father was Milford,there was also Roy,Florence,Laura,Bernice,Gertrude, and Louis and Louise.
This last summer my brother and I had lunch with Clarences
son and daughters in Wausau Wisconsin.

Otto Golisch was my great uncle. {My grandfathers brother} They lived in Wausau,Wisconsin. My father Edward Paul,had a brother named Amos,and three sisters and three half sisters. They all lived in Eau Claire, and later Chicago.Illinois. The half sisters lived in Wausau .Anita was one of their names . I am doing this from memory right now but will get the info I have written down for next time. Just thought you'd like to know.Oh, My name is Linda. I have an Aunt Betty in Idaho.Virginia was Amos's wife. She is still in Eau Claire. The other sisters Dorothy and Margorie have passed on as well as Amos and my father Edward.

I am pretty sure your father would have been my fathers cousin.My fathers name was milford,his fathers name was otto.Your grandfather and mine were brothers.My grandfather was born in Germany,but when he was older they lived in Stettin,in Marathon county,Wisconsin.There is a web page on the net madew by Tim Golisch,he also lives in Michigan

I am looking for information on the Golisch family. I was born in Michigan to a Robert John Golisch, his family is from Wisconsin. I dont know his family, have never met them and would like toknow more about that side of my life
