One of my ggg-grandfathers was James Graham, born in 1833 in Roscoe, Coshocton Co, Ohio. I don't know who his parents were tho, and I don't know much about James either. If this turns into a connection for you let me know. I have a picture or two of Margaret McCullough who was Jame's wife. My email is mikegks@gmail.com

This is a long shot, but My great-grandfather Mathias Graham was born in Ohio in 1828, and his two brothers John Graham born 1826 and Mathew Graham born 1836 all in Ohio. The family ended up in Kansas there John and Mathew served in the Civil War. The parents, Joseph and Nancy Graham were both born in PA. Let me know if you think this fits. I have been searching for a link to this part of my Graham family for years.....

My ggrandfather, John Wesley Graham, was born in Ohio on July 4, 1865. I have no information as to where in Ohio he was born, or who his parents were. However, there was some thought that he had a brother. He moved to Illinois, where he died in 1950.

I wonder if there could be a link to your Grahams. Do you have any details about them?

Thanks

Dale

Don't know anything about my grt-grt-grandfather Joseph Graham only that he was born in PA in 1801, I do know that he migrated to Ohio where his sons Matthias, Mathew, and John Danial Graham were born. I don't know anything about Joseph's siblings. He may have had a brother that lived in Ohio as well, just don't know. However Joseph's sons all had daughters, except for his son Matthias who is my grt-grandfather, Matthias Graham ended up in Ill. via Kansas, so don't think there could be a connection there.........
Wish I had more.............Holli

Holli,
Do you have any ideas as to where in Ohio your family is from? I have a Mary Graham that married Nicholas Burns in
Clinton Co. Ohio. I have been unable to locate her family much like yourself. If you can give me a general area they may have been in maybe we can find more information.

Right now I am looking at Guernsey Co. Ohio. My grt-grt-grandfather was Joseph Graham and I found a Joseph Graham in Guernsey Co. on the 1830 census, the problem is only the number of family memebers are listed not names. Looking at places of birth for their children my Grahams were only in Ohio through the 1830's then moved to Ill. and then onto Kansas where two of the sons John D. Graham and Matthew Graham served during the civil war, the other brother who is my grt-grandfather Mathias also lived in kansas, he and his family eventually moved back to Ill. and it is believed that he is buried there. What I'm hoping for is that Joseph Graham B. 1801 in PA (whom I know nothing about)May have had a brother or some other family in Ohio..........Hope this helps........Holli
