Looks like I might have some pieces of your William Mills Graham.
I have William Mills Graham married to Sarah Jane Garton. William was born Sep 26, 1801 in Chester County, SC., d. January 28, 1882 in Winterset,Madison Co.,IA. He had 5 children by Sarah when she died on July 29, 1833. He remarried Jane Pophan. They had 8 children: James Thomas, William Alexander, Matthew Joseph, Sarah Jane, John Mills, David McDill, Mary Margaret, & Samuel Alison. Unfortunately I have almost no information on their children.
My family connection is thru his daughter from his first marriage, Martha Ann who married Samuel Hutchinson on March 16, 1842, in Biggsville, Henderson Co. IL.

I have information on the descendants of William Mills Graham if interested. Do you have any info on his ancestors before David Graham born in County Atrim, Ireland in mid 1700's?

My great, great, great grandfather was James Graham who married a Margaret (Peggy) _______?__ in early 1760's and left Belfast, Ireland to go to Charleston, SC arriving 2/3/1768.
I'm looking for the parents of James. He and his wife Margaret had children in South Carolina: William, James Jr., John, Margaret, Jenny and Mary. William is my great, great grandfather. What other info do you have on William Mills Graham

Did you find which family the MILLS surname came from??
Just curious.
Robert GRAHAM married Rachel MILLS and they removed to Ontario, Canada. Rachel was dau of John MILLS and Rebecca SMITH UEL list of Ontario, Canada.
John was of Sussex Co. NJ USA. Not really sure who his father was? Some have it as Andrew MILLS and Sarah MOREHEAD of CT. goes back to George MILLS - Rebecca TANNER of Jamaica, LI NY USA. George possibly from North or West Riding Yorkshire, England. So far no one has come forward to share concrete information which part, village, hamlet, town, estate in the Ridings of Yorkshire.
Along these lines, Elizabeth GRAHAM married Jonathan MILLS listed as son of Samuel MILLS D: 1822 Jefferson Co. KY USA. Samuel, John above noted both match their descendant DNA tests results. Which also matches to my brother's.

Elizabeth listed as dau of Joseph GRAHAM and Rachel WARFORD of Fulton Co. PA area. Robert and Rachel listed as on 1800 census for Fayette Co. PA. Which are not near each other on the maps. So possibly all traveled from New Jersey together and spread out from there in PA?? Do Not Know??

Robert GRAHAM listed on only one db on rts wb as son of an Andrew GRAHAM. Some have it that GRAHAM came from North Ireland and originally name was GRIMES. Garbled to GRAHAM.
Or ??
Not my research. But just stumbled upon the MILLS - GRAHAM addtional entries couple days ago.
So the plot thickens.

Are they related to this family line of GARTON - MILLS?

Just curious. Just happened to notice the names on my MISC MILLS file.
