MY GRANDFATHERS NAME WAS FREDERICK HARRISON GRAHAM b1872 MARRIED TO PAULINE RICHMOND b1890. HE HAD ONE BROTHER I KNOW OF NAMED MORRIS A. TWO SISTERS, NANCY J. AND MARY B.
HE MAY HAVE HAD ANOTHER BROTHER THAT MOVED TO CALIFORNIA OR IT MAY HAVE BEEN MORRIS.
HIS FATHER WAS JOSEPH GRAHAM b1848 MARRIED TO
MARY C MCCUTCHEN b1840. THIS WHOLE FIASCO TAKES PLACE IN NICHOLAS COUNTY, WV.
I CAN TRACE MY GRAHAMS BACK AS FAR AS 1860 WHEN JOSEPH GRAHAM WAS LISTED IN THE CENSUS AS A 15 YEAR OLD FARM LABORER LIVING WITH THE FAMILY OF ANDREW KYLE. IF ANY OF THIS SOUNDS FAMILIAR. PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

Dear Charles:

Just read your post. I have been trying to track my great-great-great Grandfather, a Mr. David Graham born in Nicholas County, VA. on 4/17/1814. I received this insoramtion from the Jones County, Iowa lookup. Basically I was able to establish David in Anamosa, Iowa. Folloiwng is the information I have, hope it connects:
David was born on 4/17/1814 in Nicholas County, Va. In 1833 he migrated to Morgan County, Ohio and then moved to Jones Copunty, Iowa in 1844. He married a a Frances Kintzel in Ohio in 1835. She died in Jan. 1853 and he remarried Rachel Bates from New York on 12-21-1853. He passed on 11/23/1884 and is buried in Iowa. Please let me know if any of this connects.

Thank You.

ROBERT,

I WILL CHECK OUT THE INFO YOU GAVE ME THE NEXT TIME I GO TO THE CHARLESTON WV CULTURAL CENTER, MAYBE I CAN TIE IT INTO MY FAMILY. IF I DO I WILL LET YOU KNOW. ALSO, I WILL LOOK AND SEE IF I CAN FIND ANY RECORDS ON YOUR GREAT GREAT GRANDDAD WHILE I AM THERE, IF YOU WANT. THEY HAVE A GOOD GENEALOGY LIBRARY THERE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSE.

I have traced my Graham family line back to before 1766, and some of my info may connect with some of yours. This is the way the line goes:
Robert Graham b?m?d?
Robert's son - Joseph Graham b1766 in VA, mCharity Hart 1798 in VA, d1854 in Banton, Arkanasas.
Joseph's son - William B. Graham b4/14/1814 in Warren Co. TN, mJane Self in Bandera, TX, d2/1/1869 in Bandera, TX.
William B.'s son - Allen Graham b2/11/1869 in Denton Co. TX, mDella Kelley 7/4/1888, d.6/2/1947 in Sabinal, TX.
Allen's son - Claude Murray Graham b6/27/1890 in Hondo, TX, mMildred Hicks in 1922, d11/13/1970 in Uvalde, TX.
Claude's son - Clebourne George Graham still living in Uvalde, Texas.

Does any of this information ring any bells with you? I don't know about any brothers or sisters of any of my Graham ancestors, so there could be a connection. Thanks in advance. Janet Graham Theberge - jkt54@yahoo.com
