GRAMMAR

I have a group of photos handed down from my late grandmother Elizabeth Burch LAMONT that are labeled "Grammar girls". My grandmother was raised near Leesburg, Virginia, and one of the girls identified in the potos as Katharine GRAMMAR was a good friend of hers. The photos were probably taken in the early 1920's. Is anyone interested in these?

Grammar / Milner

Seeking information on Grammars from Nottinghamshire, England. I recently noticed that 14 Grammars showed up in Parish and Probate Records of Nottinghamshire dating back to the Middle Ages. My ancestor Edward Milner, born about 1745, perhaps in Nottinghamshire, England married Sarah Grammar, born about 1748, possibly in Nottinghamshire, England. Both may have been Quakers or Non-Conformists (Non-Church of England). Edward and Sarah migrated to Loudoun County, Virginia. Sarah Grammar died in Loudoun County, Virginia before 1799.
