      <description>I came across this thread while checking for other names.  In case people have checked this resource, I used the MACO (Minn. Marr.) index and found information on Selmer Sanness' marriage, as follows--&lt;br&gt;HOUSTON [cert.#] O-124   [date=] 6/27/1946 &lt;br&gt;[groom]  SANNESS, SELMER T   [bride]  GRAN, INGA G &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;As for Carlton Gran, I found no marriage for him listed on the MACO index, either under Carlton or Carl in Houston Co. or elsewhere in MN except the following which seems to differ in the given names--&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Houston Co.- 7/15/1924- Carl John Gran and Mary Carline TWITTE.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Hopefully the above is still helpful. Gran&lt;br&gt;April 12, 1918 - November 21, 2010&lt;br&gt;Services: November 24th, 2010 at 11:00 AM&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Arminta M. Gran, 92, died early Sunday November 21, 2010. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was born in Ashtabula on April 12, 1918 the daughter of Darius and Alta (Castle) Armstrong. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was a 1936 graduate of Ashtabula High School and received her Bachelor's Degree from Baldwin Wallace College. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She worked for the Ashtabula Area City Schools as a truant officer. She enjoyed music, serving as organist for Harris Memorial Presbyterian Church for many years. As an active member of the church's Golden Circle she worked with other ladies making rag rugs to support their ministry for the church. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She is survived by her husband Merle who she married July 15, 1989; her daughters: Martha (Jack) Haluszka of Madison, Barbara (Bob) Laughlin, Susan (Chuck) Morse, and Laura Gran all of Ashtabula; her son Bob (Sarah) Williams of Wilmington, N.C.; her step children: Barb (Don) DePault, Paul (Darlene) Gran and Carl Gran; and her grandchildren: Debbie (Dave) Tredent, Karen Williams, David Church, Justin Fox, Jody Charles and Ashley Gran, and great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Hugh Williams in 1987, following 46 years of marriage. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 p.m in the Fleming &amp;amp; Billman Funeral Directors Ashtabula Home 526 W. Prospect Rd.       <description>Looking for info on Carl Wilhelm Iverson Gran b. 1870 Horton Norway. He married Alice Sommerfield in Islington 1895.  He gave his father as Carl Edward Wilhelm Iverson in the Norwegian Navy.  He himself was a carpenter and worked for a coffin maker. He died in 1916. Some of his children added a "T" to the name and became Grant. Does anyone know when he arrived in England ? His children were Carl Edward Iverson b. 1896..Ralph Stanley....William George.....and Alice Maud.  Does anyone have info on the children.&lt;br&gt;thanks</description>

I dont have a spouse or his children. Not sure if he was married. Im also looking for information on Selmer Sannes who was married to Carlton's sister, Inga Gunhild Gran. Selmer was born May 10, 1913 in Spring Grove. He died April 22, 1964. Inga was born February 7, 1918 in Spring Grove. They had a son. Name unknown.
