Henry Greenham married to Thomasin Southwood

Hi has anyone got any information on Henry Greenham who married Thomasin Southwood in Sidmouth, Devon on 6th April 1796?

I believe Henry to be the father of George Greenham born 1798/9 who married Sarah ? I know of 4 children, the eldest being George b 1825 in St.Pancras, whose daughter Sarah Ann Greenham b 1846 St.Pancras who married Lucas Carrington 1867 in Pimlico.

Lucas and Sarah Ann are my great great grandparents. I have some lovely photos of them if anyone is related...

I am looking for informaton on my Grandfather, Charles Gilbert GREENHAM, b: 28 Feb 1894 in Richmond, Surrey; d: 3 Oct 1970 West Middlesex Hospital, Isleworth, Hounslow, Syon Park. The informant was his widow Margaret E. GREENHAM. Their address was 114 Drayton Bridge Road.

Margaret is his 2nd wife, or a later wife. He was first married to Violet STEVENS, my Grandmother, on 24 May 1915 in Alban Acton Green, Middlesex.

My Mum always told me her mother, Violet, said Charles died before 1944, and so, was listed as (deceased) on her marriage certficate to my Dad. Imagine my shock to find out he actually lived until 1970 and none of us ever knew! It would appear my Grandmother had a secret!

I do not know if my Grandfather had any more children, but, since he married again, it would seem likely he might have had another family with Margaret.

If anyone could give me a hand in finding my extended family, I would be most appreciative.

suggest you look around Crewkerne or Merriott for the name Greenham. On' GENUK' a kind lady has posted a website containing info on the whole village of Merriott incl Greenham. My connection to this is Joan Greenham, daughter of James Greenham & Hannah Farr. Joan(Jane) is my Great Great Grand Mother. Hope this helps.

Looking for information on this family. My Amos and Thurza Greenham came from Gurnsey Island. They were born 1820 and 1821. They ended up in Barry County Michigan.

We are searching for Charles G. Greenham and who his parents and siblings were. His birth date is not certain. Also, we think he was born in West London, but not positive.

Lori, you might check the Greenhaw name. I have Greenhaw's in my line and every once in a while a census has them as Greenham. If you are hitting a blank wall, this is just a thought. Good luck in your search.
