I am looking for information on Jesse Greer (born about 1825). He fought in the Civil War with Company A 2nd Tennessee Calvary and is buried in Claiborne County, TN.
He was married to Sarah (unknown maiden name) who was born in 1826 and died in 1881. She is also buried in Claiborne Co. TN.

One of their daughters, Nancy Rebecca Greer, married Elijah Thomas on November 24, 1867 in Claiborne County, TN.
Some of Nancy Rebecca's siblings were: Mary, Elizabeth, Margaret and William F.Greer (hope these are right).

Elijah & Nancy Rebecca are my great-great grandparents. They moved to Texas in 1894. I don't think any of the Greers went with them.

I have found out quite a bit about the Thomas family; but don't have much info on the Greers.

Any info would be helpful.
