Charles William Groo and Clara Alice Denniston

I am seeking any descendents or relatives of the above couple. Charles was born 1/29/1875 and Clara was born 6/25/1881, both in Sullivan Co, NY. It is not known whether they had any children (either thru birth or adoption). Charles' date of death is unknown but he did die before his wife; Clara's date of death is between 1968 and 1984. As a married couple they resided in Newark, NJ.
Any info would be great appreciated.

My children's grandfather is the grandson of Elizabeth Rose Groo. As you stated, she married John Wise. Their daughter, Mary Katherine Wise was briefly married to Willett Irving Wagner. They are the parents of my ex-hubby's father. So, Elizabeth Groo and John Wise are my children's great-great-grandparents.

Are you descended from Mary or her brother John, who I think was her only sibling. Also, Mary and Willett separated shortly after their only son's birth. I have found a death record that indicates that she may have remarried at some point to a "Lindahl". Do you have any info on that?

You can reach me direct at gagirl1964@yahoo.com. Thanks.

Hey Karen. I saw your message and I was so excited to realize that we are very distantly related. Isaac Groo, Bryon Groo's father, is my Great Great Grandfather. We are related through different children and different wives. I just did a report on Isaac and his life and I would love to send you any information that you would like and I would love to know what you know. Let me know, I would love to share.

HI! Thought I would be the first to post on the Groo message board. My husbands Great Grandfather John Wise married Elizabeth Rose Groo, daughter of Byron Groo. Family seems to be centered in Salt Lake. I have a copy of the Groo/Grow Family History and would love to share information and possible meet some distant relatives.

Karen
