Hola! Mi nombre es Bernardo Duarte y mi tatarabuela fué Clara Duarte quién tuvo tres hijos naturales con un señor de apellido Guadarrama: Vicente Duarte (1872-1958), mi bisabuelo Mariano Duarte (1875-1937) y María Duarte (1878-1956). Por lo tanto mi apellido debería ser Guadarrama y no Duarte. Lo que me interesa saber es si en sus investigaciones ha ubicado a éste señor Guadarrama que es mi antepasado. Toda mi familia es de Caracas, pero no sé si Clara Duarte y su compañero lo fueron también. Un saludo afectuoso. Bernardo.

I just ran across your inquiry and am sorry to inform you that Martin passed away in September of 2003. He would have like to gotten in touch with you. I was his wife for 17 years. During that time we didn't have much contact with his family, but I do know that his father Nick live in San Francisco when he passed on and his mother Joan live in San Pablo, CA. He has a brother named Nick and a sister named Rita. Martin had a twin who died when he was six. I hope this helps. Let me know if I can bee of any other help. Was your father John?

hola yo soy mexicana y me apellido Guadarrama en mi pais si es muy comun ese apellido mas en la ciudad de tonanitco mexico.....se dice que ahi vivieron italianos y que por ellos llevamos ese apellido...no pongo mi nombre porque soy menor de edad y el correo que puse es de mi amiga pero puede mandar lo que guste ahi.... yo vivo en usa un saluda bye!!

I haven't posted nor read any of these in quite some time and in looking them over this date, I came across you, Martin, in Northern California. I would like to give you a call; Nick (from Mexico) was my paternal grandfather; Nick (from Martinez) was my father's brother. Hola Roberto, Yo no tengo informacion en Guadarrama. Solamente que mi abuelo era un Guadarrama y nacio en Mexico. Es verdad que este nombre no es muy comun. Yo oyedio de la Sierra Guadarrama. My grandfather was originally from Mexico. I do know that Guadarrama comes originally from Spain. that is as much as I know on the Guadarrama name. I am unfamiliar about the history. If you happen to get any info please let me know. Hi Gaylee, My mothers dad's name was also Nick. He had several children with my grandma. I have very little info on him. Except that he lived in New Mexico and then moved to Martinez California. He also had another daughter. from a previous relationship by Elidia Mares .his two kids were named Patsy and Tom. We also heard that he had several children after. he had the 5 with my grandmother I am unfamiliar with any of his family members. Except for one brother that he had named Vicente. My grandmothers name is Juanita aka Jennie. My grandfather was Nick Guadarrama and was married to Suzie (Maher)-they had six (6) children (my grandmother later married a Rodriquez and had another child, Willie). The original Guadarrama children were: Rose, Tom (my dad), Nick, Joe, Johnny and Suzie.
