This is my first post...I was wondering if anyone could look for me and see if there is a marriage record for William Butt and a Anna M. Laman (not sure of Laman spelling) Anna could also have been Anne or Mary. They would have been married around 1850 I live in Oregon and would be most grateful if someone was able to look this up for me...

My great grandfather Robert E. Smith lived in hagerstown and his father was Charles R. Smith, his mother Amanda E. Grimm. Both parents buried in Hagerstown. Charles father & mother is David H. Smith born 1805 (he was a butcher) and Mary Ann Sutter.

Does anyone have any info on Jerome Lewis of Hagerstown Md? His children were Robert b. 1895-1985 John-Caroline-Berta-Barbara-Maurice-sarah. Robert Lewis is my grandfather. He had a Daughter Mildred before 1916 in Hagarstown before moving to Ohio. Can not find out anything. I only know that Robert's dad was Jerome and mother ? She died giving birth to last child. They were married, but know one living knows her name. Jerome was remarried don't know her name.

Trying to locate information on the faimily of Jacob Avey b. 1730-1740 PA. Married Eve Hagerstown.

Had son, Joseph Avey b. 10 May 1767, d. 28 Aug 1869. Married Kezia Garland 1790, b. 27 Jun 1767.

Joseph and Kezia moved firt to KY in 1794 and then to Northwest Territory OH in 1797. Built first log cabin east fork Little Miami River, 2 1/2 miles from mouth. Had a daugher Christner.

Any information to confirm notes would be most helpful and I will be glad to provide more info on family.
