Married 2d Elizabeth Leeson (Leason) 11 Dec 1845. They had 4 sons: Joseph Aaron, Royal Whitfield, John James, and Abraham Samuel.

Married 3rd 16 Dec 1858 to Martha A. Keeling; no children.

Abraham was s/o Thomas Hankley and Philadelphia ("Delphy") Whitehead West; Thomas was s/o James Hankley and Frances Lockett; James was possibly a son of Thomas.

I have extensive information on your Lockett, Royall, West, Lawson, Claiborne, Whitehead ancestors, as well as Hankley/Hankla. Happy to share with a cousin. What genealogy program do you use?
