Please can someone help me.

My husband's ggg.grandfather Johann Hinrich BLANKEN arrived in London 2nd September 1836 from Hamburg on the ship Columbine. I estimate his year of birth to be abt. 1823 taking into account various UK census. He married Sarah Jenner 29 Jan 1843 and on the marriage certificate his father is Henry, occupation Farmer. He died in London 19 April 1871, age 48. We believe he may have come from Kirchtimke or Neudorf, but cannot be certain of either.

Would be grateful for any help at all.

Pearl

Hi there.

I too have the information about him arriving on the Columbine. Am related through my maternal side. I am new to this so if you have any further information, or wish any more connections from me, let me know.

Regards Anna

Hi Anna,

My husband is his 3x great grandson. Would be easier if you contacted me on pearl.16@ntlworld.com. I do have quite a bit of information so we could compare notes :-)

Look forward to hearing from you.

Regards
Pearl
