      <description>My great great grandfather, James Harbo(u)rne was sentenced in Birmingham Quarter Sessions to 7 years imprisonment and transported on the Mount Stewart Elphingstone in 1848 and landed in Brisbane, Queensland where I currently live. I have all of his descendants from that time but am looking for more information about the English connection, in particular some Bastardy Bonds.</description>

      <description>Hello Vicky, I'm back from our holiday with our daughter Ellen and family. Vicky, have you ever experienced weather as hot as 47 degrees celcius? That was how hot it got in Mildura, Victoria where our daughter lives. I was totally exuasted from the heat. It was good to get back to our Geelong, Victoria weather which averages around 25 degrees. We are of course in mid summer.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Well back to family history. Vicky I'll give you my information on the Harborne's on my side. My gt. grandmother was ADA HARBORNE born 6 Sep 1870 at 20 Park Rd. (1871 census in Hockley) Her parents were JOHN HARBORNE born abt 1847 (Brasscaster) mother JANE THOMAS born abt 1851 they had three children. JOHN HARBORNE born 1869 (He was killed by a run-away horse which he tried to stop - it had bolted - leaving his wife widowed with small children. ADA (my gt. grandmother) HARRY HARBORNE born 1874. 1851 census living at 10bk 59 NEWHALL HILL, BIRMINGHAM.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Father of JOHN HARBORNE 1847 is WILLIAM HURDIS HARBORNE born 1824 (Cabinet Maker) His wife is SARAH 1825. Their children were ELIZABETH HARBORNE born 1846. JOHN HARBORNE born 1847. ELLEN HARBORNE born 1849. On 1851 census they were living at 4 VAUXALL ST. B/HAM&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;My gt.grandmother married WILLIAM HANSON 19 Nov 1893. They had twelve children.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;That is all the information that I have Vicky, Does any of this help in any way.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mary.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
