Hi - my name is Linda and I am also related to Thomas Harbour/Sarah Witt thru Talmon - Talmon Wright - Sarah Harbour who married James Varnon. Would love to have any and all info that is available for any of the allied lines. Also, could you provide info re: Harbour reunion. Anything would be most appreciated. The fatherest line is Thomas Harbour who married Sarah Witt. I go no further back than Thomas. Would love to have more info on him. On Sarah Witt, I go back to John Witt/Whitt, b. circa 1645. Thanks.

Searching for Samuel Jackson Harbour (born 1853) at Peterborough. Parents were Nathaniel Harbour and Elizabeth Jackson. Samuel married Sarah Duncombe in 1884 at St Giles, London. They appear on the 1891 census living at Roydon, Essex, along with 3 sons. In 1901, Samuel and George are gone and Sarah is living at Bishop Stortford. We cannot trace Samuel or George on the 1901 census, but we know George married Rose Warren in Hertfordshire, 1909.

They are shown on the 1891 census living in Roydon, Essex, with 3 children. One of them is George. We find Sarah Duncombe in the 1901 census, living at Bishop Stortford, but Samuel and George do not appear on the census. I have a lot of information about my g-grandmother Rebecca (William's sister) but only information gathered from census returns on William and his brother Thomas.
I would be pleased to hear more from anyone who is related to Thomas (born 1848)and William (born 1852) both born in Norfolk. Their parents were James and Jane. I believe William married Alice Dunning and had children Ernest, Edith, Mabel and Albert. I believe some of the family emigrated to Canada. Thomas married Mary Ann Jenkins and their children were Percy, Sidney, George and Winifred (children all born in Clapham, London). Thomas and William were older brothers to my great grandmother Rebecca - they also had sisters Jessie Mae and Elizabeth Kate (born in Pimlico).

Sorry not to have replied sooner. I was also excited to see your message. I have been entering family info on genesreunited and as a result have discovered living relatives on the Harbour side of the family. My great grandmother Rebecca Harbour was a younger sister to Thomas and William, therefore most of my informtion relates to her and descendents. I have limited info on Thomas and William and that is only what I have learned from the census records. I am eager to learn more about William and Thomas and their families. Jessie Mae was an older sister to Rebecca (and younger than Thomas and William) and they had a younger sister Elizabeth Kate, who lived with their father James Harbour until his death in 1894. I don't know anything about Jessie Mae other than she was born about 1855 in Pimlico. I will now check the message board regularly and hope to hear from you again.

I looked at the web site you provided and found Bayles Ray Harbour with Jesse Lee Harbour listed as his father. I'm not sure what connection, if any, this information has to my question. Do you mean that this Jesse Lee Harbour is the one who was born in VA in 1804? That seems highly unlikely since Bayles Ray Harbour was born in 1906 when the Jesse for whom I'm searching was 102 years old. If this a different man, what's his connection to Jesse Harbour born in 1804 in VA?

I'm searching for information on parents and siblings of Jesse Harbour who was born about 1804 in VA and who married Jane Newman about 1828 in Cabell Co., (W)VA. I'm also searching for parents and siblings of David Harbour who was born in 1809 and who married Elizabeth McCallister. Jesse and Jane's descendants lived in Lincoln and Cabell Co., (W)VA and those of David and Elizabeth lived in Cabell and Putnam Co., (W)VA. I'm hoping to learn if there is a family connection between these two men and I would appreciate hearing from anyone who can shed any light on this question.
