Oskar / Florence / Sonny Heinemann

I am looking for more information on

Oskar Heinemann, b. ca. 1880 in Bremen, Germany.
Oskar was a dentist and first married to Antonie Sandkuhl with whom he had two children - Anita and Oskar Gustav ("Sonny"). His second marriage was to an English lady whose first name was Florence (last name unknown, b. in Northampton, England, ca. 1889).
Oskar lived in England before WWI, then returned to Germany and practiced as a dentist in Rathenow near Berlin. When the Nazis rose to power, he emigrated to Palestine and after WWII, in Nov 1945, immigrated to the U.S.

I am also looking for:
Oskar Gustav ("Sonny") Heinemann, b. 1907 in England, d. 1998 in Florida.
He was the son of Gustav (above) and was married first to a lady named Kitty, later to Annette (spelling variations possible) Anton.

Any information is of interest to me. Thank you much in advance.

Also, you mentioned that there are other documents produced by Charles. Could you provide any information about what those were, or are they part of what was donated to the Cincinnati Library? Thanks, Dennis Heinemann

I can tell you what happened. This is Barbara, your cousin. When he died he was married to Helen. She called my dad and he flew in for the funeral, I was living there. When we went to her house, she told us he was already buried and wouldn't tell us where. our grandfather showed my dad and I his will when we had saw him a few months earlier. He wanted my dad to have family photos and other family heirlooms. helen said he never had a will and would not give us anything.

I have just a few pictures of our Grandfather when he was with his sons but nothing else. I can scan and send to you.

Barbara Heinemann
baheinemann@gmail.com

My understanding was that it included all his papers, but I have no idea what "all" meant. Sorry to not be more help. If I find anything about what was donated when I get to Houston, I'll let you know, but I don't recall having seen anything about the donation in Midge (Charles' daughter, Mildred) and Bob's papers.

Sorry this isnt the answer you were looking for.

You can find a copy of Heinemann in America at
http://heinemannpage.com/Ancestory/Heinemann_in_America.pdf

My grandfather was one of the respondents to Charles Heinemann. I would be really interested in looking at the any of the supporting research for Family #15. I am also interested in whether or not anyone has been able to connect Family #15 with any of the other Heinemann families.

I can be contacted at sheinemann1@hotmail.com

Hi, I'm looking for the ancestors of Louis Heinemann, who was born in Saxony, was living in Saukville, Ozaukee Co, WI in the 1860 census at age 16 along with three Doehlers, and eventually married Augusta Geidel and raised many children in Chicago.

Anyone researching this line?

I just saw this message you wrote in 2006--I was never aware of it. It makes me sad-- But also glad for now. I don't know why I wasn't "contacted" but then I don't know how Roots Web/Ancestry works with their message boards.

I'd be happy to share with you--I'm so excited that I may even have trouble sleeping tonight. I have done research for years and you are the first "real" live contact I've had for this side of the family.

I have some photos--but it may well be that we don't have the same ones.

I do know that he and his wife, Wilhelmina are both buried in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Wright Co., IA along with several other relatives.

This leads me to believe that he was in contact with at least one of his sisters but maybe not his brothers in Teutopolis/Effingham...do you know?

Sharon
Sharon,
Thank you for the information. I printed off an index report from Petrus Nosbisch, Born May 12, 1801, Died 16 Sep 1857 in Huttingen, Germany. This has all the information for sons and daughters and their descendants. The only one with little information was for Mathias.

Also, google Nosbisch family, Huttigen, Germany. Their is a page for a Thomas Pick (descendant of Barbara Nosbisch). You can click on cities in the area that this family was from. Extensive lists of family and neighbors.

If you could tell me specifically what information you are looking for, I may have it.

Richard, Bertha & Hertha Heinemann-Loretto, MI to Chicago, IL

Hi,

I am researching the family of Richard, Bertha and Hertha Heinemann. They immigrated to America from Germany on July 11, 1911 through Ellis Island. They came with my Great Uncles August Roeder(spelt Roder on manifest) and Wilhelm (William) Wenzel. They went to August's home in Loretto Michigan, and listed him as their Brother-in-law. He was listed as Hertha's Uncle. They supposidly moved to Chicago, and were Bakers. I have not been able to connect them in any way to the famous Heinemann's Bakery though. Richard would have been born around 1880, Bertha 1881 and Hertha around 1904. Any information anyone can supply would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Sincerly,
Kathy L.
