Albert William Helmuth died in 1972 in San Diego. I was married to him previously, if it's the same person. He was fostered out in Philadelphia at a young age, but was born into the Helmuth family. I don't know the name of his father. More information....contact me.

This is rather a late reply but I wondered if you would like this information. Charles Helmuth born 1874 Guernsey and he was my grandfather. I have more info: on him and his ancestors if there is a connection. Please tell me anything you know about him as I do know he was in England until approx: 1909. Regards Margaret

Looking for information on Lt. John L. Helmuth, also went by Jack. He joined the military in time for WWII but was suspected to be a spy and was placed in a Baltimore prison for a couple years. I have an picture of him in uniform with a handwritten note "Herr Leutner as of 4/14/43".

my mother was Marie Helmuth Donaldson, born in 1916. Her father's name was Helmuth. I believe Albert. He and his brother married sisters. They lived in Philadelphia (Kensington), but most of the family moved to San Diego in the late 40s.

Hazel (Clasen) Helmuth, 95, died at home Saturday, April 21, 2007. She was born to the late Edward and Emma (Brehmer) Clasen on March 1, 1912. She attended Winneconne High School and received a teaching degree from County Normal in Kaukauna. She married Leo Helmuth on Aug. 4, 1941, in Winnebago. Hazel was an elementary teacher at Babcock Elementary in Green Bay and had taught at Winnebago County Grade School for several years. She was a member of the Brown County Retired Teachers Association and member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. She loved to spend summers at Loon Lake and especially enjoyed going on the pontoon boat and watching the loons. Her greatest hobbies were playing cards and reading.

Survivors include two daughters, Pat (Ron) Vogels and Penny (Ron) Elfe; five grandsons, John (Sue) Vogels, Jeff (Kay) Vogels, Joel (Sue) Vogels, Tony (Wendy) Elfe and Brad (Dawn) Elfe; eight great- grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Lindsay, Morgan, Hunter, Noelle Vogels and Jordan Schmitz and Carson Elfe; numerous nieces, nephews great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, in 1989 and her two sisters, Elsie (Alan) Edminster and Vivian (Sparky) Meyer; one brother Henry (Gertrude) Clasen; niece, Nancy Hoyman and nephew, Bill Clasen.

Friends and family may call 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 2160 Packerland Dr. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. at church with the Rev. Steve Witte officiating. Burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Hazel's name. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.

The family would like to thank Sheena and Julia from Unity Hospice.

Looking for any info on my father, Albert William Helmuth, served in Marine Corp, had a son, Christopher Ivan, in the Carolinas, a daughter Althea, in CA, (born around 1969) at least two other children..can find nothing on him..died of gunshot wound in 1971 - 1972 in San Diego, CA. Any info at all would be appreciated.

I would like to thank you for your offer to help with the name Helmuth. I do not have a lot to go on. I live in Australia and know my inlaws came from Germany but I do not know of the town. I have a Certificate of burial of Henry Bernard Helmuth
names are Eva E. Helmuth age 58 died 5th June 1941
Bernard Helmuth age 69 died 5th Dec.1959 also in this plot of ground are the ashes only of Elizabeth J. Dunlop died 21st april 1959 I do not know of this person or why her ashes were buried with the Helmuth
