Dear Carolyn,
This is a very strange coincidence,--I guess.
I have Karl H.A. Hense,(Known as Charles) b. 1842 in Saxe-Weimar, Germany, d. Washington D. C. 1884 and Wilhemine C.H. Narjes, b. 1850 in Altona, Hamburg, Germany, d. Washington, D. C. 1913.
But the names of their children are not the same as those you mentioned. I am searching for the daughters of their grandson William Crofts Hense, CAROLYN and Teresa!
Where were your Chas and Wilhemine living in the US?

I know of two sons -- there may be more issue -- Curt Otto Friedrich and Wilhelm Friedrich. Wilhelm came to the US, Milwaukee area, about 1886, married Marie Seeler from Eichelberg, then lived in Cleveland OH where he died in 1934. I would like to find Carl Conrad's antecedents.
