I am seeking information on Dora Schultz and August Hesse (1853-1924), married in Germany, immigrated to USA circa 1881. Together had four girls, Anna, Minnie, Louise, and Cornelia all of whom came to the US. August remarried Lydia and had four more children including Laura, Melinda, Leota, and my grandfather, Leonard. any links or info would be appreciated.

Hi I am not related but I just saw your request and thought it intersting. My family is also from Germany my grandpa was the only one of his family that came from the home country. He did bring over a distant cousin but he had a different last name. So we aren't related to any Hessea in the the US. Oh I forgot to tell you my maiden name was Hesse my grandpa's name was Frederick Hesse with a few other names as middle names. My dad was first generation american. His name was Frank Henry Hesse. Just thought I would so hi. We are all located close to Mattoon Illinois but have one cousin away now. Take care.
