Searching direct living descendants of Charles Robert Hierons born 1887 of Robert and Rebecca from Fulham, West London. (Note: he had at least one daughter Queenie Annie Mabel born around 1902/3)

I have no direct family connection with Charles but am particularly interested in his career as a Lawn Tennis Professional in the early 1900's.

Any assistance most welcome

Stephen

My Hieron family goes back to Chipping Campden in the 1500s. Some ended up in Derbyshire and others to Gloucestershire. I am research the Glos Hierons - mostly in Minchinhampton, Box, Avening, Horsley etc. I have my own direct line, but would like to fill in some of the gaps of the extended family.

Is anyone else researching this family?

Hi,
I am researching my family tree on my father's side. His parents were Herbert Harold Cook and Charlotte Eliza Patten.
Herbert's mother was Ellen Cook, daughter of Harland Cook and Sarah Ellen Bouchier. Charlotte's parents were Robert Patten and Elizabeth Ann Hierons. Robert's parents were Josiah Patten and Hannah Salway. Elizabeth's parents were William James Hierons and possibly Eliza Copenhagen or Norton Hodgman. If you share a common ancestor could you e-mail me on andeford@aapt.net.au. Ta Ande

Hi Carl, I hope this finds you as I see you haven't posted in a few years. I have been researching my Hierons family links also and don't know whether we can help each other but heres my history...

me - Kimberley Sullivan
my father - Robert Sullivan
his mother - Alice Harrison
her mother - Maud Mignonette Patten
her mother - Elizabeth Ann Hierons (born 1860 in Victoria, Australia)
her father - William James Hierons (born 1831, Somerset, England, immigrated to Australia in 1852 with his wife Eliza Copenhagen)

...and that is as far as I can get. Hierons is proving to be quite an uncommon surname, and thus very difficut to find and info on, until I stumbled upon your website. Well done by the way, its great! Although we may not connect any of our ancestors yet, with this surname there must be a connection somewhere. If you want to chat, my email is kimberleyerin@yahoo.com.
