HIGHMORE/ CLEAL/ MCGILLIVRAY

Hi
This is quite a delicate matter and I don't know how much the people involved are aware of..Something happened when my mother(Jean Highmore) was about 7/8 years old which meant that she was separated from her mother. As a result my mother then had one half sister and possibly a second. Their names Josephine and June (their father's name ? mcgillivray) I believe June has married a man named Lesley Cleal and that they have at least one daughter ?Sarah. As said I don't know what Josephine and June were told about the circumstances surrounding their births etc, so I really don't want to hurt anyone. If anyone knows anything of these women and might know what they were told, then please get in contact.
I know it all sounds a bit cryptic but I really don't want to upset anyone, but would love to know more about the Aunts I never knew and any cousins I may have.
Thanks Clare

Angel, Robert de Hymmer is also an ancestor of mine. In 1812 Jean Highmore married John Coombs Jeffery in Yeovil. I would love to swap any names and dates that would help one another. Let me know.

Hi!
I read with interest your mention of a newspaper photograph of a Highmore family gathering up north. I was wondering if it might be possible to arrange with you to have a copy of that photo please?
Regards
Robyn

Hi !!...I am a Descendant of the Highmores of Dorset (c.1800's...)via the Mintern Line and we can be Traced right back to Robert de Hymmer in the 1200's !!.....
I was wondering if any Highmores anywhere that are in our Tree have any Photographs or Info of Paintings that may have survived of any Members of our Clan ??!!....
Church Brass Rubbings would be great if anyone knows of any Memorials of that type anywhere...I know this is abit of a long shot but, I am really interested in the Physical Similarities that are Passed down over Generations...I have already been passed a Newspaper Photo of a "Highmore Family Gathering up North" by Eddie Bennett and was amazed at the Resemblances to Relations that I never knew I had !!....I am Disabled so my "gadding off on Quests for Knowledge" are a tad limited these days but, would love any Info that anyone can send me.....
