Hi William,
I should have directed you to search for "The Hilliers of Newfoundland" where I know you will find lots of information on Thomas George Hillier and family.
You may still contact me if you wish at 'thelookout@roadrunner.nf.net'. Is Mrs Carrie Hickman related to you?
She must be because her father was Thomas George!

Hope this helps.

olive is my grandmother

i can't believe i somehow missed your post before today. i'm sorry but i
don't have a lot of "notes" to compare. i guess i'm not about to "quit my
day job" and become a family historian.

but i REALLY want some info about my family history as i'd like to build my
family tree for my daughter.

olive married louis stacey(which has brought me NOWHERE FAR researching)
and had 9 kids - one of which was my father.

can you give me some more info?

truly,

Thanks,
Frances

Since I last wrote, I have found more information on my Hillier grandparents.

My maiden name was Hillier, now married to Trim, based in West Norwood, London, UK.

Paternal grandfather born 15.2.1895 (location unknown) - died approx. October 1963 or 1965. Was a caretaker for the Relief Station in South London, near his home in Kennington, London, UK (which was around the time when my father, also called Percy Hillier, was born 9 September 1925 at home).
My grandfather Percy was also again a caretaker for the Mortuary in Havil Street, St. Giles Hospital, Camberwell, London, SE5.

Paternal grandmother - Florence Bain (maiden name) born. 21.12.1896 (location unknown) - died approx. June 1981 or 1989.

My paternal grandparents (Hillier) last known address was in South Ockendon, Essex.
I have never known if my grandparents had other brothers or sisters or offsprings?

My grandparents (Hillier) had five children, Florence/Bessie/Ivy/Kathleen and Percy (father) - all four of them have since died, except one still living, which is my Aunt Ivy, now living in a nursing home in Kent (which would be aunts).

Just wondering if you have the above in your database?

Would really be appreciative of any further information about my ancestors, in particular also about my great grandparents, which I know nothing about.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Janice Trim (Nee Hillier

I am trying to find my relatives that are still living. They would be in Wales and England. My father was Percival Hillier son of Alfred and Annie Hillier from Porth, Wales. My father had one sister named Dola, and three brothers Emile, Aruthur and Bert. Is there any connection with your information.
