Can some kind person do a 1851 Wiltshire census lookup for me.Names i am researching are Martha Hillier born West Lavington last quarter of 1839 father John Hillier mother not known.Also John Ford born Easterton 1838 father William Ford mother not known

You probably have an answer by now, but if not, I just looked at a copy of the 1851 Census and could not find your people.

The only Hillier is a Hannah Hillier, aged 36, unmarried, a House Servant in Bishops Cannings.

There are no Fords on the list.

Did you ever get this census info you requested? If not, I have the images of the entries for these families. There is not one for John and Martha together. They were still living with their respective parents in 1851. I have both.

Let me know where I can forward the images if you'd like them.

I am also researching these families and if you have any information at all, I would appreciate if you can fill in any of my gaps - especially any more info on William Ford and his wife Ann (John's father) and John Hillier and his wife Eliza (Martha's father).

Looking for onfo on the Family of Edward Hillier born 1740s, West Knoyle, Wilts. Son John born 1783 came to Burin Newfoundland, then to Lamaline, Newfoundland. Would like to contact any person with info on Hillier Family of Mere or West Knoyle or the general area. Have extensive family information from John, Charles & Edward (appear to be brothers but not sure)

you can find a little more about charles my goping to your search engine and typing in hilliers odfnfld.it references in outline descendants of charles 1793 that him and john are brothers. as i am from the descendants of john 1783
