Does anyone know anything of John HITCHMAN and Margaret CAVANAGH who married in New Zealand in 1893? Their daughter Florence Mary HITCHMAN [born 3 Sept 1906] married my cousin Percy CROZIER on 22 Sep 1928.

Alfred died in Goodrich, Huron Canada in 1919.

Hi, family originally from Birmingham. My grandfather born circa 1880 Reginald FC Hitchman. Military man. Had brothers Percy etc. No idea on sisters.Two marriages. First produced daughter Eliz. Second my dad(Reginald BL 1915) and younger sister Rosa and brother Albert. He went to US / Massachusetts about late 1920s. Brother went to Canada, and one to Australia I understand.

My name is Paul Hitchman, I live in Cherington and I've started work on my family tree but haven't come across your Thomas yet. I've found three others though so it must have been a family name. 1) Thomas Hitchman baptised 14th June 1809 son of John and Sarah. 2) Thomas Hitchman son of William & Sarah, born in 1824, one of twins with Elizabeth but he died just 2 days old and she was 3 days old. 3) Thomas Hitchman son of John & Ann, born 1848 only lived for 9 weeks. They're all from Winderton which is where my father came from. It's about 3 miles east of Cherington. I haven't gone though all the Cherington records yet, just been looking at Winderton and Brailes. I'm sure there must be some like somewhere to your Thomas. Be very interested to know anything you may have found about the Hitchmans in this area. Also the Hydes. Regards Paul Hitchman (aged 44)

Looking for information on Mary Louise Hitchman born 01 Jul 1871 and died on 07 May 1952. She was married to Jacob Kromer who was born on 26 Feb 1868 in Pfalsburg, Germany and died 10 April 1949 in Scottdale, Pa.

Hi there, I don't know the information that you are seeking. I wish I did. Maybe I do have it and do not know it as yet. My mom (Delleen Starner) passed away on April 12,2002. With her she took most of what she knew. She did leave a few things such as floppy disks of information on the family. I am still trying to figure out just HOW to go about opening some of these files. If I find some information I feel is useful to you, I will surely send it your way.

My mother who I believe was called Jayne Hitchman gave birth to me in Liverpool England on the 6th november 1981.

We know that there are descendants of Joseph out there but where are they? Joseph's son was Walter John Thomas Hitchman who married Mathilda Nelson in the Dakota Territory in 1877. At the time of his death his obituary stated that he had two brothers and a sister living in Sioux City. Our efforts to find them have been fruitless.
