Do you have any information on Paul Kinsey Hubbs, Jr. who married a Flora Ross about 1859 probably in Victoria BC and who was living on San Juan Island (Whatcom County), Territory of Washington in 1860? I am a great grandniece of Flora's and would not only be interested in anything you might have on Paul's family, but especially on Flora's family, who were Hudson Bay Company people. I have been researching the life of Flora Ross for over twenty years and would be happy to share information with you. I am not related to her, but have been fascinated by her ever since I came across her story while researching the San Juan dispute during college. I don't have nearly as much information as I would like to after so many years of searching, but I'd be happy to share. I've actually been searching for family relatives as well, as a way to hear family stories rather than the hard facts I find in documents.

hi, paul k hubbs jr was customs inspector on san juan island, his father, paul k hubbs Sr was a lawyer-school official, Sr was living around port townsend or port angeles while Jr was on san juan island, they moved to washington from california. Sr was into school admin i believe, they came from back east before california. Have not research much on them.
