I also live in Pomona, Kansas. My grandmother's sister Nora Ellen Hazen (b. 22 Jan 1877 in Illinois and d. 16 Oct 1905 in Kansas) married Frederick William Field. Their daughter Mary Anna Field married Harold Edwin Humerickhouse

My grandmother and grandfather were Mary A. and Harold E. Humerickhouse. My father is Charles Robert Humerickhouse.

A comprehensive family tree is available. The next Humerickhouse family reunion is tentatively scheduled for June 2006 @ the Gasthof Amish Village 812-486-2600 in Montgomery, IN.

My grandfather was Teddy Humerickhouse from Odon,Indiana. I moved from Ohio to Kansas a few years ago. It is my understanding that my "line" started in Tuscarawus County Ohio which is pretty close to Canton, OH from there they split up and about half went to SW Indiana and the others went to Ottawa, Kansas, where sure enough the name exists. There is a Humerickhouse museum in or near Cambridge Ohio off I-77 SE Ohio. Long story short I'm a desendant of William Wheeler Humerickhouse.
