I have been researching the Humerickhouse and Espenschied sides to my family.

My lineage is Emma-William- Helen-Teresa ,(my children are)- Alene, Brandon, Bryan, Tiffany and Elizabeth. Granddaughter-Paige.

I am still working on the descendents of Valentine and Emma. My list on William stops around 1958. I am trying to gather information from my aunts and uncles. I have worksheet started by Forrest Espenschied. My mother Helen's line has grown since 1958- two sons, 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Altogether I have 3 brothers and 1 sister. Also many cousins who were not on Forrest's list.

I found notes where Emma and Joshua H. had married Katherine and Valentine E. I found that interesting, so I had hope to find out more about their family by tracing the Humerickhouse side also, they were my grandpa's cousins. In early 2000 I run out of leads with Solomon I have this on Mary Polly Shull(Shaw) - Peter Scholl-1704 wife Unk. Frederick Shull 1730/1735 wife Soloma Kebel-1734 John Shull 1787 wife Elizabeth Loud, Joseph Shull 1811 wife Susanne Shupe
Mary Polly 1834. I also have brothers and sisters for this people and some of the In-laws.

I am trying to research as many generations as possible for my children.I have found this to be a very interesting challenge and a great past time. I even get my kids in on it. I would like to share information. Hope to hear from you again. I would like to know if I have the right Shull lineage. And would like to learn more about Joseph and Catherine (Katherine) all I have so far is that they had nine children.I hope to get to do some research in Ohio this summer. It's hard to find Ohio newspapers in Tennessee. Alot of my relatives live in the Dover and New Philadelphia area. My family lives 1/4 mile from the Tenn/Ala stateline.

I am a Humerickhouse descendant, and I briefly looked at some of your responses. You are very prolific in this forum!

As I go through the other messages, if there is an info exchange we can do together, I have missing pieces and questions.
