      <description>Looking for any relatives from the family of William H. Humphrys b. 1826 &amp;amp; Mary Jones b. 1848...was in texas in 1900 in Collin Co. Had 5 children together...Charly b.1873, Wm. P b.1881, Claud b. 1885, Rollie b.1888, and Fred b.1891 ( William had 8 with Susan Gentry before Mary.)... &lt;br&gt; Mary left Willam when he got too old to work...not sure if she took kids or they stayed with him. He was already 65 when Fred was born.&lt;br&gt;William H. (Humphries) &amp;amp; Susan Gentry were my Great Great Grandfather &amp;amp; Grandmother. I am trying to find what happened to my Great Grandmother, Minerva E. Humphries Waters, their daughter, after 1900.&lt;br&gt;I know William died in Hopkins Co. in 1908.</description>

We have lost all contact with this family, would like to correspond.       <description>Unfortunately I havne't any "Samuels" in my collection of HUMPHRYS yet.  In my own experience, the spelling of the surname was a bit hit and miss throughout the 1800s, and my family started out as HUMPHREYS, before dropping the E later on.       <description>I think I have traced my great great grandfather back to be Isaac Humphys' son. His name was Benjamin and he married an Ann ?  and later moved up to Birmingham.They had a son called Frank who married Clara Lily Sanders.       <description>I am looking for descendants of Jim and Edith Humphrys (nee Morris) probably in California.  &lt;br&gt;Edith Morris was born in South Australia on 12 Sept 1896 and became a doctor. She married James Humphries/Humphreys/Humphrys who was a US citizen and they moved to the USA probably in the 1920's or 1930's.  I have yet to find a marriage for them here in Australia so they may have married in the US.  The last person here in Australia to have contact with them had a California address in the 1970's.
