I don't think anyone knows who Dicy's father is. Richard Hutchings father, may have fought in the American Revolution since Richard was born in 1777 or there abouts. However, there are so many Richard, John's, William's and Thomas's, that I am not sure how a connection can be made. I don't think anyone has been able to find him with his family and siblings.

I've been looking for Richard Hutchings, husband of Dicey, to find his father also, to see if he or the father fought in the Revolution. Do you know? I'm really trying to get my mother into the DAR & am hitting brick walls on all lines. If i can get her into the DAR on Dicey's line, that would work, but the DAR is really strict on having proof. Do you know who Dicey's father was and if he fought in the Revolution? I would love any information you can give me - thanks!

Rev. WILLIAM COATS of Tennessee
a Case Study - new research as of 2/16/2006

What we know about the John Baker family. We know that John Baker was born in January 18, 1747 in Stafford County Virginia. His age was recorded in a Bible which was left in Virginia when he moved from there. He was called into the American Revolution while residing in Stafford County Virginia, he was in a unit of Minutemen. He remained in VA until about 18 months after the war and from there went to South Carolina about 60 to 70 miles from Charleston on the Broad River, remained there 3 years when he moved to Red River, Logan County Kentucky, resided there about 14 years, From there he went to the Poe or Pon River area of Kentucky for about 3 years, from there removed to Bedford County TN for about 9 years and from there to Wilson County TN where he was residing in 1843 when he applied for his Revolution Pension. johnbakervatn5; johnbakervatn6; johnbakervatn7; Tennessee Documents. John was 96 years of age when he applied for this pension and died in 1844 in Wilson County TN but based on his recollections in this pension declaration, he remained in Stafford County VA until 1787, was in South Carolina from 1787/88 to 1790/91, was in Red River, Logan County KY from 1791 to 1805, in the Poe or Pon River area of Kentucky, this is probably in Logan County KY as well until 1808, in Bedford County TN 1817 and from about 1817 to 1844 when he died in Wilson County TN. Nancy Baker Coats died in Callaway County MO in 1849 and in her probate file is documentation that she and her heirs received part of John Baker of TN estate. More from Nancy's probate file.
We believe John Baker had the following children: Nancy Baker married Rev William Coats; Anna Baker married Benjamin Coats, Jeremiah Baker married Abi, short for Abigail, Nancy and Anna according to later census records were born in Virginia and Jeremiah Baker b 1801 in TN but more likely in KY, leaves in Wilson County Deed Records of 1847 documentation that his father was John Baker jeremiahbakerwilsontn1847.jpg; Jeremiah is believed to be the youngest of the children; Susan Baker married ? Stark; Tabitha Baker married ? Hamilton; George Baker, John Baker and Dicey Baker married ? Hutchings. We also believe he had a grandson named Thomas Baker. John Baker did not leave a will in Wilson County TN when he died nor have any deeds for the transfer of his land been found in the Wilson County TN deed records at this date. The John Baker in the probate case files, is a Maj. John Baker who died and left a will in Montgomery County, TN.
The Logan County KY Tax Books only go back to 1792 and in that year we find both John Baker and William Coats in that county on those tax books, John has 180 acres of land on the Red River. 1792logankyjohnbakertx.jpg; 1792logankywmcoatstx.jpg, so it is possible that William Coats and Nancy Baker met and were married in South Carolina in either 1790/1791 and if they went to Kentucky with John Baker it is possible that their first three children were born in Logan County KY, although some later census records state that James Coats was born in South Carolina but that is probably incorrect since the tax records show that they were in Logan County KY in that year. A marriage record for William Coats and Nancy Baker is not found and probably no longer exists, unless located in some church records.
In 1793, the Logan County KY Tax Books show that John Baker is still on the Red River, William Coats is listed but now also Benjamin Coats and Wilson Coats are listed on the same page with William; 1793logankyjohnbakertx.jpg; 1793logankybenwmwilsontx.jpg; we believe this is the documentation needed to connect these three Coats brothers back to William Coats who owns land on Kings Creek and later dies in Kershaw County SC in 1784 and leaving a will naming all four of his sons, Barton Coats, who is in the Red River area of Robertson County TN, Wilson Coats, who goes from Logan County KY to Bedford County TN, William Coats, who goes from Logan County KY to Smith County TN and Benjamin Coats who goes from Logan County KY first to Bedford County TN, then to Smith County TN. in 1817 Rev William Coats and Nancy Baker move to Callaway County MO with their family and there are a great many records there for this family.
In 1794 Benjamin Coats is gone from the Logan County KY tax books, but William and Wilson are on the tax books through 1795. William Coats moved probably in 1796 to Smith County TN. Wilson may have lived elsewhere for a short time, since records showing him in Bedford County TN don't show up until early 1800s but he also shows up in the 1799 Logan County KY tax books after missing from there from 1796 to 1799. Kentucky Documents. Barton Coats may have been somewhere else prior to moving to Robertson County TN since the earliest land record we have for him is dated 1812; Barton Coats, 1812, Robertson County TN Deed Vol J p. 239.jpg. however, Barton shows up in Robertson County TN in the court minutes of 1797. We know who Benjamin Coats' children were based on later Smith County TN probate records, he died in Smith County TN in 1850. We do not know all of Wilson Coats' children or Barton Coats' children or do not have a record of them.
Rev William Coats and Nancy Baker Coats' Children are: 1) Mary b May 21, 1792 either SC or Logan County KY; 2) James b January 4, 1794 Logan County KY; 3) Rachel b September 30, 1795 Logan County KY; William b May 11, 1797 Smith County TN; 5) Nancy b February 2, 1799 Smith County TN; 6) John b November 10, 1800 Smith County TN; 7) Wilson b August 10, 1802 Smith County TN; 8) Anna b February 2, 1804 Smith County TN (died young, not listed in her father's will or mothers estate in Callaway County MO ; 9) Laodocea b December 25, 1805 Smith County TN ; 10) Benjamin b 1808 Smith County TN (died young, not listed in his father's will or mother's estate in Callaway County MO; 11) Tabitha b December 13, 1810 Smith County TN; 12) Frances b September 13, 1812 Smith County TN; 13) Mahala b May 1814 Smith County TN ; 14) Hiram b February 20, 1816 Smith County TN; 15) Lemuel B. b October 6, 1817 Callaway County MO. The *History of Callaway County MO* published in 1884, documents Rev William's children, coatscam_0001.jpg; coatscam_0002.jpg; coatscam_0003.jpg; coatscam_0004.jpg; coatscam_0005.jpg; coatscam_0006.jpg; coatscam_0007.jpg; coatscam_0008.jpg; coatscam_0009.jpg; coatscam_0010.jpg; coatscam2_0001.jpg; dates taken from the Coats Bible Record of Rev William Coats' children, biblepage_0001.jpg. Note that the Bible Record does not state where Rev William and Nancy's children were born, although Neva's book (more on this later) states they were born in Sumner County TN and Smith County TN, it should also be noted that Rev William is said to have moved to Smith County TN from SC. The James Coats found in the Early Callaway County MO History, is the son of Rev William Coats, he was married to Polly (Mary) Callaway, they had two children, Larua Fields Ann Coats and Marshall Smith Coats.
Children of Benjmain Coats and Anna Baker: Nancy Coats bc 1800 m James Benjamin Serl; Milberry Coats b 1805 m Washington Woodson; Wilson Coats bc 1810 m Elizabeth Perryman; Jeremiah Coats bc 1814 m Elizabeth Klope; Mary Polly Coats b 1815; Temperance Coats b 1822; Ann Coats bc 1824 m Robert Malane and Elizabeth Coats bc 1834
Children of Jeremiah Baker and Abigail: William C. Baker bc 1821 in TN m Minerva Ellison; George B. Baker bc 1823 in TN; Lounsia Baker bc 1832 in IL; John Baker bc 1834 in IL; Nancy Baker bc 1837in IL; Josiah Baker bc 1839 in IL and twin brother Jeremiah Baker bc 1839 in IL; Zachariah Baker bc 1849 in IL. This information taken from census records.
Tennessee land records:
The first land record of a Coats in Smith County TN is dated March 1, 1806, wmcstn18_0001; wmcstn18_0002; it is a deed for 180 acres from Joseph Collins of Smith Co. to William Coates of same on the Brush Creek part of a pre emption, a pre-emption was granted by the state to those settlers who settled in the state prior to the state giving land grants, where Coates now lives. Witnesses are Isaac Moores and Isaac Scudder. Proven: March 1806 oath/Moores. Rec: 1 May 1806. This deed indicates that William was already living on a piece of land that is a part of this piece of land, so he could have been living here before the date of this deed, but the exact date is unknown.

I have a great deal on Dicey if you need it. The Bakers and all allied families where children of men who served in the Rev War. All the Hutching's and allied families names are in the records, just figuring who is who is the trick as each time they made rank and grade the spellings change from date to date as the war progressed. Out in the field correct spellings were not primary concerns to the clerks. Many of the Hutching's men lost their lives in the Rev War. A Joseph and John of eastern VA, Norfolk Burrough and Princess Ann Co. VA. They are heros, They left wives and families and were active before the Rev in the House of Burgess as was their father John. They were plantation owners. The largest family which migrated to White Co. TN of Hutchings belongs to the Christopher Hutching's and Elizabeth Parks. Their children migrated to TN,KY IL area as time lines indicate. Moses was the eldest in Sparta, White Co. TN census with another John of age and had several sons in the census there. Moses was a twin and his brother William and a brother JOhn, Aaron and James and off the top of my head quite a few others and sisters. I spent some time in Sparta and the graveyards are full of Hutchings as well as the adjoining counties. The court house burn in Sparta so I was left with graveyards. Anyway the connection to Sparta is strong as my maternal Grandmother Ussery/Usrey/Ury/Youree, a thousand spellings, was born there and migrated on to AR, married James Hutchings and migrated on to OK. There is an extensive Hutchings/Hutchins family with all the right names there in the early 1800-20 census. You can access it on USgenwebb under the state of VA. I have tracked William, John and Hyram Rice as attorney appearing in court records. William and John moving on to ILL as they disappear from the records and census and appear in IL census. Lots but let me know who you are looking for inparticular.

I am not sure where the reference is but John Hutchings of Joplin Missouri, a third cousin, and I have corresponded with him for years and purchase his book, he has been a reference frequently otherwise must be a typo. Do you really think they could still be alive?? LOL
I have been researching the wives of these men and I have lived in the Isle of Wight/Southampton Co. VA, is the south part of IOW, descent of counties. Very historical families and I have a volumns of these families, Hutchings and throughout the county records the spelling changes according who the county clerk employed at the time. I visited plantations owned by the Jones, wife Selah Jones, daughter of David of IOW, VA, married William Hutchings, one of the sibblings we are looking for the parents for years. If you click on my name on this site all my correspondence should show up and what I do is copy all information and file it into my data/records for further reference and use later. I have a tree filed on ancestry.com under the name of Black and Jones. It has the Hutchings and their wives and families and thanks to a lot of work by John and his book we have a great deal of verified information.

First, John Lee Hutchings is my cousin, alive and well in Joplin MO. He is a descendant of John, I believe. A slave who came to IL with John and William was named Landon Parks. Richard Sr Stayed in KY, Anna also. Richard Jr. took his family to MO in about 1848 and settled there. Some of the children of Richard and his sister Anna came to IL and settled there. John Lee has done extensive research on the descendants of the 4 siblings. We are still trying to get back to their origins. We believe two of the sibs were born in VA, then a migration to NC where the other two were born. It is only based on censes. Thanks, Jan

However, I couldn't find anything for the Isle of Wight Hutchings, there were Richard's in it, but it seems that it ran "out" - ended up in girls. I'll find my notes and reply again later.

Thanks - long ago I studied a family from Mass. I believe, who had married into the Parkes, I'll have to find my old notes. (It could have been Huitts - I'm doing both families, they criss-cross each other through the years, in the same states.) So, should I start studying the PA Hutchings? I'll do that & see where it gets me. "Landon Park" rings a bell also.

Didn't Richard also move to southern IL to be with John for a short time before moving on to Missouri?

What do you mean, John Lee Hutchings thinks - present tense? Or are you talking about the one born in the 1700's?

Application 147303, State # 2106, Sgt Ariel Nims Chapter, the Missouri State Society for National Society Sons of the American Revolution
was filed through the line of Thomas Gunn, III, of Caswell Co. NC, Virginia Patriot. He provided provisions and supplies.
Application presented and accepted by John Lee Hutchings of Joplin Missouri, 3117 East 8th Street, zip 64801, his age was 69. His children are listed Sharon Lee Hutchings, Kay Lynn Hutchings, he is the son of Lester Noel Hutchings & Bessie Jewel Sharp, son of Noel Alexander Hutchings & Lilly May Buxton, son of Alexander Martin Hutchings and Kiturah A.W.Gunn-Dry, daughter of Daniel Gunn, Jr.and Nancy T Wilkes, son of Daniel Gunn, Sr. & Jerusha Winn/Wynne , son of Thomas Gunn, III and Susannah Burnett.

We share Alexander Martin Hutchings my great grandfather and his wife Kiturah Gunn. Maybe this will help you. Don't for sure although when you get your line back to revoluationary war almost everyone..male that is was in war regardless of maternal or paternal association. These families intermarriage about every third generation. Kiturah and Alexander share same great grandparent for him as grandparents for her or vise versa....talking from memory here. The Thomas Gunn, forgotten at the moment as there are I, II and III. One of them is buried in Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond VA. I Was just up there a few months ago. It is a family plot. So just image others associated with the family are there also. Next time I am up there I am going to the records plots and locate as many as I can of the allied families.

Thanks for all the info! I had no idea they were lawyers! I am descended from James of whom, of course, there is little i information. He didn't fight in the Revolution (was born during), but his father William fought (I believe, I hope it wasn't the son William who fought instead). I'm trying to get my mother into the DAR on the Huitt's but the line descending from James has never gotten in because no one can prove a link from James to father Wm. I thought I had traced the Isle of Wight people & they sort of trailed out, I couldn't find a link to us. Yes, send me the other info you were talking about; I get frustrated over this line & go for months doing nothing on it! Thanks again!

William Hutchings and his wife Celia(Selah)Jones. She also could have been called Sally as in her Father's will it is Selah and in guardianship she is not mentioned but there is a Sally, minor. This family is from Isle of Wight VA and well documented.
She was a minor and later applied for guardianship to her possible uncle James/John Jones, Wayne County Court North Carolina Records. I have those. If she married before marrying William, she could have been Celia/Selah ?? marrying William but it seems everyone agrees she is a Jones original. There is only one Virginia marriage of a Selah/Celia Jones marriage to Samuel Jones for that time frame 1800. She would remain a Jones in that case and may have a child by that marriage.
I found a record of Jerusha Hutchings born Maryland, 1800 Mother Selah/Celia Jones and father William Hutchings. There is no mention in Johns Lee Hutchings correspondence regarding a Jerusha Hutchings from that marriage but there is a reference that several daughters are missing but it is a fact that Jerusha is a family name as Jerusha Gunn married into the Hutchings and named a Jerusha Hutchings who married Thomas HB Jones. Again the family doesn't fork. They are also in TN and IL records. Does any of this fit with your information. If not just keep it and maybe it will line up sometime...somewhere.

I have the census records of John and William they are lawyers as well as Hyram Rice, who is married to Ann. They all appear in court records and then disappear as they migrated. They move from TN/KY to IL earlier as census records indicate and there is an Elder John. John and William remove to IL.
In the TN records James is there and the spelling is Hutchins/en. He seems to be harder to track. I believe he is in the White Co Court TN Records. I may have sent those census to you. If not let me know and I will forward them.

Melody, By 1830, both William and John were in IL, and Richard and Anna were still in Logan County, Robertson County, KY and TN. William and John left in 1818 or so, but may have been in White County before they left. I do know that one of their slaves was named Landon Parks, which is a connection to the Pittsylvania Hutchings.
Moses Hutchings was born in Culpepper Cty. VA in 1754. He married Lucy Parks Dec 13, 1780, which is after our sibs.
Children William M. Judith Johns, John M. Anne Williams, Nancy, M. Thomas CarterIV, Polly M. Jesse Walton Samuel M. Lucy Robinson, Margaret M. Samuel Thompson Robert M. Mary Carter, Stokely M. Nancy Johnson. Moses died in VA in 1817.
Thomas Hutchings, brother of Moses, also had a son named Moses, but he would be too young to be the father of the four sibs. John Lee Hutchings thinks the father may be James, son of Christopher, also. Or could Moses have been married before he married Lucy Parks? Jhh

Apologies on my last post of the Census for Moses Hutchings.
The relationship of all these people to my Grandmother Rachel Ussery/Usrey Hutchings is the reason to suspect Moses as being the father of the sibblings. I would be reasonable.

Can we get a list of his children, especially the 7 males listed on the census.

Message body1830 CENSUS WHITE CO TN
Moses Hutchings 50-60 years old 7 males 4 females

Samuel Usrey 50-60 years old 7 males 4 female one 40-50

Ramson Geer 4 males 4 females

Issac Hutson
George Hutson
John Rice
Frederick Geer 1 male 7 females

Sarah Ussery 1 male child 7 females

Wm Ussery 30-40 years 9 males 5 females 3 slaves

I post this Census record as a possibile relationship. The reason being all those listed above are my realatives direct line to Hutchings.
Moses might be the guy? He is the son of Christopher Hutcings also the son of Christopher. Catherine Donaldson married Thomas, a brother to Christopher as well as brothers William, John and Moses. Moses and William are mentioned as twins in some records.
My Grandmother is the daughter of Frederick, son of William, son of Samuel and the Samuels both Jr and Sr. are listed in 1810 Census of Lundenburg VA.

Moses has 7 males living in his residence at that time.
He would have been born about 1770-80. There is no doubt about his parents as they are well documented on line with the Christopher Hutchings of VA.

Thanks, Melody! What fascinating information, and much food for further research. I will pass this on to the researcher in KY., and see if she can piece some of it together. It gets us back to the Pittsylvania Hutchings, through some death and remarriage. Jan

I spent a great deal of time in the area of White County TN looking at the Pres. Jackson connection with John Hutchings.
John was his business and from that search I turned up the land records for a grant which included the entire White Co. TN.
The grant was given to Andrew Jackson and John Hutchings. The only way this could have happen is if they were related in some way to the person who was to receive the grant who was not living or not able. The grants after the Rev War were given to all soldiers regardless of rank. The soldier or office who was deceased, their grants were taken by widows and children. The grant was for some hundreds of acres now known as White Co which is descent from several previous counties.

White Co. is located two counties to the east from Nashville, TN not more than an hours drive. What was of interest to me was that in the 1810/1820 Census of White County TN,(working from memory right now)all the men we are looking for are residents of that county but short relocate to the Illinois, Washington Co and ajoining counties there. William, John and another John, older man.
This just happens to be the county where my Grandmother Rachel Ussery was born and married my Grandfather Ernest Hutchings several generations later. The Ussery/Usrey are residents of White Co also in the same census as well as the Gunns and Jones, allied families to Hutchings.
I found a record of John Hutchings Esquire in White Co. TN and also court records of the Ussery/Usrey, Samuel and Hutchings men in White County Court records. They are all lawyers.
T

President Jackson is related to John Hutchings who is his business partner and if I remember corectly John Hutchings died in 1817 at the age of 42 leaving a son and widown. Jackson filed the will in Huntsville, AL, just a couple of hundred miles from White Co. But John had a plantation in Madison Co. AL. I lived near there several years ago and went to the court house and retreived the will which states that Johns Mother Catherine is still living at the time of his death. Jackson buried John Hutchings in a field with a concrete slab marked and it is located in Madison or Limestone Co. AL. There was a reference somewhere that John Hutcings had a previous grown family that was contesting his estate. This is were I am at this time stuck as the court records of White Co. court house burned, where his previous family would have lived or originated.
His wife could have been alive or deceased.
Also I found records in TN archives where Samuel Hutchings alias Lemuel Hutchings or Lemuel Donaldson were one in the same. From these records it is clear they are related to the Donaldsons and probably the mother Catherine married Lemuel and had late in life twin sons. One was adopted by President Jackson and his wife and named Andrew Jackson Jr.
The other twin was raised and then joined his brother became the ward of the Pres. and his education was finance by Presidnet Jackson.
I can not get away from the connection, location and migration of these members.
Presidents Jackson's mothers name was (Betsy) Elizabeth Hutchinson. She had several sisters and brothers.
In those times as soon as a woman was widowed she remarried and if they/he/she lived a long time could be married many times especially if there was wealth, land and money. The last name would change and if they deceased sister, cousins and relatives took in the orphans.
Elizabeth Jackson married Andrew Jackson in Wax Haw S.C. and was widowed with Jackson, and his two brothers. It is said that she died during the Rev War and burial unknown.
Somehow the children of her second marriage to her sisters husband(can'tremember the name right now) he was killed and she went to nurse her family members on a prison ship and died. Mentioned another husband. So how many children???
Thomas Hutchings was on the Floatilla, he and his family and Catherine Donaldson and their 8 or 10 kids. There wre three hundred people on the flotilla and many died, the last boat contained small pox and was isolated and then as it fell behind, it was attacked by the Indians and they were killed. I can't find the records for those deaths.
I have been to Nashville twice and haven't had enough time to dig through everything available. The Hutchings, Jackson connnection is a fact and the families ties go back to VA where they all started out and previous to that the Wax Haws of S.C.
It is safe to assume that any orphans from this flotilla would have been adopted and could or might use names interchangeable. I am a step child and I have records in both surnames.

Getting back to the Hutchings. They relocated from VA/NC/SC with their families to TN/KY area because of the Rev. War. Their businesses was affected by the war. Andrew Jackson joined them from SC by land route with anothe group several months later.

My guess is that John Hutchings business partner of Andrew Jackson (Clover Vally) were half brothers and shared a mother Elizabeth and Catherine Donaldson maybe their step mother. and another though she might be Eliableth using her middle name. Just guessing.......
I know that the Hutchings are related from a biography which encludes a letter written by Lemuel Hutchings addressing Jackson as Dear Uncle.
I hope I haven't confused anyone. Just keep this info and at least if you stubble across anything related..post it.

I have all the documentation of this iinformation so at least you can file it with some confidence. Working from memory right now so if possible I will try and post the references so you might enclude them in your research.

I found a piece in the Virginia Gazette written in 1962 with the entry "Hutchings, Sarah. Norfolk Co Petition, 26 Oct.1787" (84? can't read) "She had six children & her houses were burned in 1776. here husband was a colonel in the Revolution and a prisoner of Dunmore" this is a good setup where a family of Hutchings children are possibly orphaned, but I can't find who the father was. I've looked up who Dunmore's prisoner's were but aren't getting that far - you wouldn't think it would be very hard to find. If he died & the mother farmed them out for orphans, that may explain things. Also there was a will in 1779 from a Thos. Hutchings with children: John, Nathaniel, thomas, Richard , James, Wm, Christopher and 100 daughters. I'm not finding much on him, but that could be a lead also. As you can see, I'm desperate....

It is Melody who has all the information, but even with it we cannot put together the ancestry of the Hutchings sibs. I do think starting in the 1600s and going forward may be a good track to follow. I know there was a Hutchings at Williamsburg, and also a Hutchings, I think a William on a ships log in the 1620s into Boston from England. There is a John Hutchings who was a ship captain, sailed in and out of Norfolk. You can find that in the LVA catalogs.

You may be correct, but I tend to think there was a death and remarriage which we cannot find.We cannot rule out the murder of the parents by Indians, but there are only 4 sibs, which is not typical of the times. Melody thinks they were part of the flotilla, 1779, which may be they were traveling with cousins, uncles, and aunts. How will we ever know? Jan

The fact that no Hutchings researcher in the US can find the parents of these siblings hints that this might be deliberate - that there may have been a family feud, or someone disowned someone - SOMEthing happened so that all 4 pretend they have no idea who their parents were. An Indian massacre or a British attack that killed the parents might also explain this legitimately. However, I'm starting with early Hutchings and going down in time because my theory is,that regardless of what may have happened later - massacres, family feud, etc. - at the time they were born, nobody knew this would happen, their births had to recorded normally, regardless of any massacre or feud that may have happened years later.

Is this Richard who married Dicey Baker, the "John Richard" you're talking about? I was fascinated by your letter; I've studied the Isle of Wight Hutchings & I thought that line ended up in daughters and sort of dried up (wasn't that the line where a Richard married a Frances? I have all that somewhere.) I have stacks of notes & xeroxes on the family; now I'm trying the impossible. I'm using Ancestry to take all the Hutchings men in Virginia in the 1700's & going DOWN in time, because going from Richard UP is useless. I found his "death certificate" on Ancestry which says his parents were unknown, but that's filled out after his death by friends or grandchildren, so you can't go by that. Also, the same certificate says he was born in North Carolina & Dicey (sounds like a slave name - I've never seen it anyplace else) was born in maryland. Is "my" Richard from the Isle of Wight line or is it "Celia/Selah"? (this is fascinating!) You say you can help me if I'm in the 1600-1700's & that's where I am! You also say to stay in touch - if I could, I'd get in the car and DRIVE over to see you!!
