I live in Crawley, Sussex the last of this line of the family, and have reason to believe the family originated from Swanscombe, Kent from the 1740's. I know the husband of an Inward died on the Titanic and her brother went to Canada. Also think the family have members in South Africa, and Australia.

The Inward family originates from Lambeth, London. In the late 1970's I did some research at St Catherines House (Then the registrar of births & Deaths). I hope this helps.

Inwards family from England

My husband's ggg-grandfather, Charles Inwards, came to the United States in about 1847 from Bedfordshire, England. He and his family settled in Riceville, Iowa. There are many Inwards in the United States who are descended from him through his son William Inwards and wife Martha Ann. Martha Ann was also an Inwards before she married, so there is another branch of Inwards through her.
