I don't know if you're still following this thread. But, my m-in-l is a g-granddaughter of Giovanni "John" Benedetto and his wife, Maria Filomena "Minnie" Valentino, through their daughter, Rosie. I have copies of their death certs, if you're interested, as well as more info back several generations on each side. (Still working on source docs.)
