Surnames: Isbell, Harris, McCullough
My grandfather was John Gibson Isbell who may have been born 1888 in either Tennessee or Alabama. He died in 1948 in Ecuador. His father was George and I believe his mother was Ann Harris. Her maiden name may have been McCullough. They had the following children: William, Robert, John Gibson, Henry Wyatt, Albert, George Lewis, Anne, Mary Ellis, Margaret. When I was little, I visited some of these relatives in Isbell, Alabama. My mother was born in Alexander City. I'm knew to tracing my genealogy. My next step is to try to find out my great grand parents names. Do any of these names sound familiar?
