Hi - My name is Cheryl (Lacy) Cudney - my ancestors were from Poplar Corners, Madison Co. Tennessee. Prior to that the Lacy's were in Hyde,Pitt and Greene Co's in North Carolina. Many times familys migrated together. My grgrgrandfather was William Parker Lacy. We have a family cemetary there with four Jarvis People in it. I do not know how they connect with the Lacys but in an old letter of my grandfathers he states that those buried there are the immediate family.

I do know that we have Browns in the family also - just do not know much - there is a Mary J. Brown buried in the same cemetary who we believe was a Lacy. Below is a marriage record which I believe is Samuel H Jarvis

I'm looking for info on my grandfathers people. He was Hubert Gray Jarvis born Oct. 30, 1922. His father was Edward Stamie Jarvis. His mother was Emma Jarvis. His father remarried and had a daughter. His father died sometime in the sixtys. Let me know if you can help.

Found your Query; I have a Ira Jarvis, was told he was born in N.C. 1794, some census say N.C. and others state New York, if this name is familiar, please let me know.
Ira Jarvis married to Nancy(maiden name unknown) she was born Rhode Island.
Do know that Ira Jarvis and his parents moved to New York.

My JARVIS Line is from Hyde County and I am looking for any information on my great-great-great grandmother, Deliah Ann JARVIS, who married William Stanley ENSLEY. The time frame is
1840's and 1850's. She had two children, a daughter named Mary Ann and a son name GEORGE STANLEY ENSLEY. I believe that Deliah named her son for her father and husband. If anyone knows a Deliah Ann JARVIS, possible a daughter of a George JARVIS, or a sister to a George JARVIS, please contact me about the JARVIS line in the Hyde County,? Lake Landing area.

There was a very large family , her father was stamey jarvis.

Interesting is my mother had a twin named Dela similar to your name.
Stameys parents were Lydia and Walter.
