My maiden name is Jarvis. I originate from Fife, Scotland, but now live in England. Has anyone got any info about possible immigrants to the US from Fife, Scotland. I would love to hear any news

I have CHARLES JARVIS b. 1811 NC. m. Sarah Howard,their son JOHN JARVIS b. 1829 m. Martha Clark, their son William Riley JARVIS b. 1854 Henry co. Indiana m. elizabeth Milissa Barkdall, Their children were Elvia b.1884, Marion b. 1885, Goldie b. 1888 and Clarence Roullan b. 15 Nov 1890 m. Lula Ice in Blackford CO. IN. they had Sylvester Henry ( my husbands Father)8 Jan 1913 and Vera b. 1914 and then divorced in 194/5 and is said to have moved to PA. and died in the 1950s may have had another family there.

Mary (Polly) Jarvis b ca 1785-95,married John Franklin, b 1787, NC, 30 Dec 1816 Surry Co.,Stephen Jarvis gave bond. Iam trying to find Mary's parents. I think Daniel Jarvis is her father, but can not connect him. Mary died in White Co., Tn 1826-28. Any help would be greatly appriciated

My grandmother's maiden name was Cassie Jarvis who I think may have been born in or around South Creek around 1900. Her mother's name was Sallie Jarvis, who later remarried a Dixon. Cassie died 12/24/1927 about 6 weeks after my father was born. Although he was born in High Point, the family went to visit Sallie in South Fork that Xmas, where Cassie died on Xmas day or Xmas eve. Cassie was apparently buried in a cemetary in South Fork, but my father was not able to find her grave site when he last visited the area. Any help would be appreciated - her mother's maiden name, her father's name, etc. Thanks.

I havenever run across any Jarvises from Scotland- but I spent a week there and a week in England- both are very beautiful, wish I could go back sometimes.. Do you have any names of Jarvises in America, we do not hear much about where they are from.
