Surnames: Jeremiah, Morgan
Hello,
I wonder if any relations to the Jeremiah family have a old story like my family that the family surname used to be Morgan. I have been told that a Jeremiah Morgan was in trouble with the law and changed his name to Morgan Jeremiah. As I have all ready traced my family back to 1745 I would think that this event took place before that date. I have found one other reference to this event. Please anyone with any info leave a message. thank you.
