JOHN L. JERGENSEN "THE BEAR" Proud and Loving Husband, Dad and Grandpa John was one of four children born to John and Florence Jergensen on August 2, 1930. John left the University of Illinois to join the United States Marine Corp and served in the Korean War. When stationed in Virginia, John met his wife, June Ann Luck. The couple married in 1953 and moved to California and bought a home in Chatsworth, where together they raised their four children. John joined the Los Angeles Police Department in 1958. After 29 years of service, he retired in 1987. John passed away March 18, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, June; daughters, Debbie, Terry, Cynthia and Barbara; sons, J. and Ken; grandchildren, Tina, Deanna, Stephen, Heather, Bryan, Steve and Jillian. He left a lasting impression on many, many people. We Love You!
