Death of Capt. Frank M. Jones, CSA, Mobile AL 1908
From the Mobile, Alabama Newspaper
Saturday, Nov. 28, 1908
"Suffering from wounds which afterwards proved fatal, Captain Frank M. Jones , 73 years of age, a Confederate veteran and who had been in attendance upon the reunion here, was brought to the city yesterday afternoon and taken to the Inge-Bondurant infirmary for treatment. He died about 5:45 o'clock."
He had apparently been walking on the railroad tracks near Perdido(Baldwin County, AL).
"Details of the accident ... are lacking, but from the best information obtainable he was struck by a northbound Louisville and Nashville freight train."
Not my line, just sharing.
